Role purpose:
Logistics Coordinator plays a vital role in timely, cost-effective and compliant movement of products throughout the supply chain, from the point of origin to the final destination. It requires fostering a strong relationships with producers, freight carriers, US Customs and internal teams. Position utilizes strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail to make informed decisions on behalf of company.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Manage the end-to-end logistics operations, including transportation, shipping, and delivery of imported products
•  Develop and maintain collaborative relationship with overseas producers, suppliers and vendors
•  Prepare and place Purchase Orders for all inventory needs on imported products
•  Coordinate bookings requests and pickups with freight forwarders
•  Prepare and review shipping documents, including invoices, container worksheets and packing lists
•  Facilitate the US Customs clearance process by providing necessary documents and resolving time-sensitive issues
•  Coordinate with domestic warehouses and various US ports on inbounds and drayage
•  Record vendor invoices related to freight and US Customs
•  Prepare and file CBMA refunds
•  Generate weekly status reports on pending orders and containers
•  Develop and implement efficient supply chain processes to optimize logistics operations and reduce costs
•  Develop and maintain department SOPs
