Wine & Spirits Salesperson -- Puget Sound Region

Wilridge is Washington’s oldest certified Organic and Biodynamic winery and a pioneer in craft distillation, producing sustainably farmed, estate-grown wines and artisanal spirits. With vineyards in the Naches Heights AVA and tasting rooms serving the Puget Sound region, Wilridge is committed to quality, sustainability, and exceptional guest experiences.

Wilridge is seeking an energetic, knowledgeable, and self-motivated Wine & Spirits Salesperson to expand wholesale placements and direct-to-consumer sales throughout the Puget Sound region. This role focuses on building and maintaining relationships with restaurants, bars, independent retailers, chain accounts, and specialty beverage shops while representing Wilridge’s wines and brandies with professionalism and passion.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales & Account Management--

Develop, grow, and manage a regional sales route covering Seattle, Tacoma, Bellevue, and surrounding Puget Sound areas.
Prospect and onboard new wholesale accounts, including restaurants, bars, bottle shops, chain accounts, and specialty retailers.
Maintain and deepen relationships with existing accounts through regular visits, product updates, and staff training.
Present and sell Wilridge wines and spirits at competitive pricing to meet monthly and quarterly sales goals.

Marketing & Brand Representation--

Conduct in-store tastings, staff education sessions, and promotional events.
Represent Wilridge at trade shows, festivals, and industry events.
Communicate the unique story of Wilridge’s Biodynamic vineyard, sustainable practices, and artisanal distillation.

Administrative & Operational Duties--

Track sales activity, placements, and order volumes in CRM or sales logs.
Submit weekly reports and forecasts to management.
Coordinate product pickups and deliveries (mileage reimbursed).
Maintain compliance with Washington State Liquor and Cannabis Board (WSLCB) regulations at all times.

Qualifications Required:

Demonstrated sales experience and results in wine and spirits.
Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
Valid Washington driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift 40–50 lbs (cases of wine/spirits).
Ability to work evenings and weekends for events.

Preferred:

Knowledge of wine regions, varietals, distillation processes, and beverage industry trends.
Existing relationships with Puget Sound beverage accounts.
WSET, Court of Master Sommeliers, or comparable wine/spirits education.
Experience with distributor networks and self-distribution.

Compensation & Benefits:

Seattle minimum wage (highest in the nation) or commission, whichever is greater.
