Trentadue Winery is a small, family-owned winery nestled in the heart of Alexander Valley, known for its award winning wines, beautiful grounds and picturesque views. Committed to quality and innovation, we are seeking a talented winery Venue Manager to join our team.
Job Summary:
The Venue Manager is the principal contact for all client events, including but not limited to weddings, corporate events and private holiday events. This role is responsible for booking and contracting events and marketing the event space via social media, digital marketing and outreach. The Venue Manager will coordinate and host site tours with potential clients, manage contract timelines, payment and client communications, and maximize the number of bookings for the event space. Additionally, this role will act as the point of contact for events being set up during the day time and occasionally be required to work the actual events when the event coordinator is not available. This position ensures excellent customer service, flexibility, professionalism, and organizational skills.
Responsibilities:
-Tour prospective clients of the venue showcasing the versatility of the space to suit clients needs including the grounds, pavilion and estate farmstay.
-Book event space and farmstay through contracts for weddings, conferences, corporate events, charity events, trade shows, sales meetings and business meetings.
-Maintain detailed clients records of all events and various stages of the event life cycle.
-Conduct wine tasting with clients, secure and process wine orders for events.
-Coordinate and monitor event timelines and ensure deadlines are met.
-Manage all client correspondence with a sense of urgency.
-Review event logistics with clients.
-Act as the point of contact for the event set up.
-Occasionally work booked events.
-Directly market event space via social media channels, website, and outreach.
-Track conversion of clients bookings from various marketing channels.
-Come up with compelling marketing initiatives and offerings to drive more business.
-Develop and maintain promotional materials.
-Attend promotional shows.
-Maintain positive relationships with our preferred vendors and planners.
-Partner with Tasting Room staff and occasionally help with company events.
Qualifications:
-3-5 years’ experience in Event Coordination and/or Hospitality.
-Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
-Ability to build relationships and interact with people effectively and graciously.
-Strong computer skills and knowledge of point of sale and other tasting room business/accounting issues/systems.
-Proven ability to manage changing priorities, meet deadlines, and effectively prioritize multiple tasks.
-Attention to detail with excellent organizational and follow-up skills.
-A self starter who takes initiative.
-Positive work ethic.
-Ability to lift 50 pounds
-Ability to work weekends and evenings as required.

Wages $30-35/hr BOE
10 paid holidays a year
