Job Description:

Continuum Estate Winery seeks a passionate and dynamic sales representative to expand distribution in Florida, Texas, and Nevada. Located in Texas, this role builds strategic relationships with on-premise decision makers, sommeliers, and message-driven retailers while driving growth in target accounts. The manager will collaborate with Southern Glazer’s across all trade channels (retail, hotels, restaurants, national accounts, statewide chains). The mission is to achieve volume and distribution goals while strengthening Continuum’s market presence and excitement for the family’s wines. He / She will adeptly use Direct to Consumer winemaker events as key tools to expand the winery’s image and recognition, articulating the family history and vision.

The Key Market Manager will identify opportunities for account and distribution development, leveraging ownership and winemaker events to expand brand recognition and articulate the family’s history and vision. Primary duties focus on in-market field sales: customer interaction, presentations, promotions, training, and closing sales.

Proudly owned by Tim and Marcia Mondavi, the winery is committed to producing one of the world’s greatest wines.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
•  Optimize market opportunities in assigned states. Strengthen existing relationships while building new distribution.
•  Execute in-market travel and events, coordinating Mondavi family participation and ensuring documentation and follow-up.
•  Maintain regular account communication: sample new releases, provide support, monitor inventory, and oversee goal attainment, pricing, programming, and marketing needs.
•  Target unsold accounts with updated lists and pursue new openings.
•  Seek out and participate in Direct to Consumer events, using the Mondavi Family as needed.
•  Spend at least three days per week in-market selling and executing activations.

** Manage Continuum’s relationship with Southern Glazer’s, including business reviews, promotions, and product development.
•  Provide timely reports for the Director of Sales and management team.
•  Ensure SGWS maintains continual inventory and handle supply logistics.
•  Maintain accurate sales database entries.
•  Adhere to company policies and ABC regulations.

Job Requirements
•  5+ years of successful luxury wine sales experience.
•  Highly organized, self-initiating, and able to prioritize activities that drive results.
•  Strong knowledge of and relationships with top California accounts.
•  Unquestionable integrity and understanding of governing regulations.
•  Experience presenting fine wine to trade and consumers, including wine dinners and DTC events.
•  Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and achievement-driven.
•  Court of Master Sommelier certification preferred. Society of Wine Educators and WSET III or higher.
•  Passion for fine wine and the wine business.
•  Excellent communication skills (spoken and written). Proficiency in Excel and MS Word required.
•  Ability to lift 40 pounds and travel extensively by car.
