Spirits Specialist – Central & Southern New Jersey
- Location: Must reside in NJ and within a reasonable drive to Central/Southern NJ markets

About the Role:
We are seeking a driven, team-oriented Spirits Specialist to support our sales team and elevate our spirits portfolio across Central and Southern New Jersey. This role is ideal for someone with strong spirits knowledge, a passion for customer service, and the ability to thrive both in the field and in a collaborative team environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & Sales Support:
- Assist sales representatives through:
- Market Work (account visits, spirits sampling).
- Leading R&D initiatives for new products, programming, and category education.
- Supporting sales-focused initiatives, goals, and incentives.
- Merchandising at retail accounts.
- Organizing Supplier, Portfolio Management, and Sales Management Market Work.
Portfolio Education:
- Provide ongoing spirits education and connecting resources to sales representatives and customers.
- Serve as a knowledgeable conduit for brands, categories, pricing, and product features.
Customer & Account Engagement:
- Make regular sales calls to assigned accounts to maintain strong relationships.
- Execute effective communication to generate new sales opportunities.
- Conduct in-store spirits tastings and customer-facing activations.
- On-Premise cocktail menu curation.
- Staff education.
Internal Collaboration:
- Participate in company sales meetings, seminars, trainings, and events.
- Partner with sales leadership on reporting, data analysis, and insights.
- Meeting company KPI and sales goals.
- Effective management of Travel & M&E budgets.
Requirements:
- 3+ years of relevant New Jersey-Based experience in Alcohol Beverage, Hospitality, Culinary, Bars/Restaurants, Supplier/Wholesale, or Tasting Room.
- Must reside in New Jersey with strong accessibility to Central and Southern NJ territory.
- Ability to travel regularly; car and clean driving record required.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).
- Strong communication, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
- Self-motivated, reliable, and passionate about spirits.
- Eligible to obtain ABC Solicitor’s Permit
