About Us: SAMsARA Wine Co is a small, family-run, and team-oriented winery focusing on crafting low-intervention, cool-climate wines sourced from grapes in the Sta. Rita Hills. Our commitment to sustainability guides us in our endeavor to produce honest wines that convey a sense of place. We are a boutique winery with a focus on old-world winemaking practices, continually striving to improve, innovate, and learn with every season.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Leadership: Oversee day-to-day winery operations across tasting rooms, eCommerce, and wine club channels. Manage budgets, P&L, and operational efficiency to ensure sustainable growth.

Strategic Growth: Define and execute data-driven sales, marketing, and brand strategies aligned with long-term goals, with support of ownership and marketing partners.

Customer Experience: Lead the evolution of SAMsARA’s hospitality and membership programs to deliver memorable, high-touch experiences that deepen customer loyalty and expand the brand’s reach.

Wine Club & DTC Sales: Optimize all aspects of the DTC business—including pricing, promotions, and fulfillment—to maximize revenue and retention.

Digital Innovation: Champion new technologies, digital tools, and eCommerce strategies that enhance customer engagement, reach new, untapped markets and streamline operations.

Team Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a cohesive team culture rooted in excellence, accountability, and genuine hospitality. Oversee hiring, training, and ongoing professional development.

Community & Industry Relations: Strengthen partnerships with local businesses, hotels, and industry leaders to increase brand visibility and visitation.

Desired Qualities & Attributes:
Local to the Santa Barbara County area with intent to anchor a career in our winemaking region.
At least 5+ years of experience in wine industry/hospitality management and/or project management with a proven ability to inspire and lead teams and achieve and exceed sales goals while managing budgets
Bachelor's degree or hospitality/wine business management equivalent certificate.
A contagious enthusiasm for wine and a strong motivation to continue learning; WSET/Court of Master Sommeliers certifications are a plus.
Proficiency with wine industry CRM systems, inventory management, analytics and digital marketing.
Excellent communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills; highly motivated, organized, courteous and detail-oriented.
Ability to travel/drive between tasting rooms and occasionally lift 40 lbs.
Compensation and Benefits:
Full time with Compensation of $90,000 - $100,000 DOE
