JOB SUMMARY

Head of Sales (wine and art) - This is a Director level job

Looking for a confident, experienced charismatic team member to help us continue to refine big table farm in brand and sales. At it’s heart this is offering great customer service and hospitality to our customers.

This role is executing hospitality and sales strategies to ensure goals are met and managing sales and fulfillment operations for both wine and art. This requires leadership, strategic thinking, and data analysis skills, alongside a deep understanding of the wine industry and consumer behavior.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Responsible for the performance, and managment of the DTC team. Overseeing daily operations, guest experience, and ensuring success across all Direct-to-Consumer channels.

Implement SOP’s short term and develop long-term strategies to improve/refine SOP’s to grow sales and customer experience.

* contributes to business analysis efforts by leveraging internal and external data to identify opportunities for growth. Responsible for Direct-to-Consumer Annual Operating Plan (AOP), DTC Sales Profit and Loss (P&L), and expenses. Reviews monthly sales and campaigns with owner.

Responsible for Managing and Implementing all Digital campaigns, (4) Releases, targeted outreach campaigns via phone, email, text

Stay informed about emerging technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements related to Direct-to-Consumer operations.

Hire and manage tasting room associate (spring) - who will also assist with the admin side many of the GM responsibilities (as appropriate)

Participates in hosting and hospitality as necessary, Supports the 6 Owner hosted appointments each week (Th,F, S)

Manages (implements) appt email and hosting calendar (studio and big table)

Manages and implements - corporate gifting, subscriptions and allocations

Maintains products, wine descriptions, inventory, and tech sheets on web (square space,VineSuite and Ship Compliant)

Maintain customer data and mailing list, manage new customer data acquisition

DTC Event promotion and coordination (~3-4 times a year)

Manage Atelier - oversee maintenance, housekeeping service. Maintain office supplies/equipment, sales/marketing materials, wine inventory, tasting supplies

Interface with compliance person?
Manage - phone, SMS, RC, email customer service

Manage fulfillment staff member and fulfillment process.

Manage, implement and Grow media shipments program

Support art sales and contribute to marketing strategies for art

Manage art inventory, sales and collectors data base / manage admin work

Assist/delegate local/pdx wholesale invoice and delivery as necc

Support and collaborated with Clare in: National Sales allocation and inventory mgmt and Marketing and Digital Marketing



PHYSICAL DEMANDS
* Must be able to lift and carry 40 pounds and be qualified to drive a company vehicle.

This job is primarily based in Carlton


QUALIFICATIONS

* Leadership and experience in DTC, Sales, hospitality, and winery operations.
Demonstrated history of achieving business growth, financial targets.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong financial management skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and understanding of key performance indicators (KPIs) tied to business outcomes.
* Familiarity with data-driven decision-making.
* Digitally savvy, with a clear understanding of the DTC marketing landscape and tools.
* Skilled in juggling multiple priorities and projects with a focus on business impact.
Willingness and availability to work the the occasional weekend, holidays, or evenings as needed for special events or at the busy time of year.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, google workspace, Red Chirp, Mail Chimp, Ship compliant, and POS, Vinsuit experience is a plus, AI exp a plus.
