Adobe Road Winery is a boutique producer crafting small production, award-winning wines from Napa and Sonoma counties. Having received over 80, 90+ scores from The Wine Spectator and Robert Parker’s Wine Advocate since 2007, Adobe Road is featured at some of the finest restaurants and prestigious events throughout the country. Adobe Road Winery is developing an incredible first-ever waterfront winery and entertainment complex on the beautiful downtown riverfront in Petaluma, CA. The facility Will be fully operational in the spring and is going to be considered "The New Paradigm" of the wine world… it is truly incredible.

Additionally, Adobe Road has launched a new brand called The Racing Series that is just spectacular. Stunning packaging and the ability to scale this brand fast. Kevin Buckler is the founder and CEO of Adobe Road Winery and sister company, The Racers Group. The Racers Group is one of the most successful Professional Sportscar Racing Teams in North America with many years of championships and wins with Porsche, Aston Martin etc. as well as four years in NASCAR. Kevin was the lead driver with wins at the prestigious 24 hours of Daytona, the 24 hours of LeMans and much more.

THE OPPORTUNITY:
As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, this position will have far-reaching impact across the organization with a front-row seat to the inner-workings of a high-growth company. This is a strategic partnership reporting directly to the CEO requiring a deep understanding in all aspects of EA skills, the wine world, three-tier, high-end entertainment, event marketing, business development and more.

This is a fast-paced opportunity in Petaluma for a professional who is bright, self-motivated, proactive, and service-oriented. The ideal candidate will take pride in delivering the highest-quality work product and finding efficiencies and new opportunities. They will support and work alongside a talented, humble, and incredibly busy group of industry professionals. This candidate will enjoy working with different personalities and prioritize a multitude of competing demands with ease.

The ideal Executive Assistant will be expected to bring positive energy and enthusiasm to the workplace. This candidate will be expected to effectively communicate with the CEO, triage priorities for both businesses, manage event logistics, navigate calendaring with an ability to gracefully switch between all scenarios with ease. Given we are in growth/scale mode, an extra time commitment is expected in this position as well as travel.

REQUIREMENTS:

Experience and appreciation for working with C-level executives.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Professional presence—articulate and able to engage with C-level executives.
Demonstrated success collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement organizational objectives.
Strong attention to detail and able to multi-task.
Thrive in a dynamic environment.
Excellent organizational and administrative capabilities.
Experience booking travel, organizing schedule and calendar.
Fundamental knowledge of the 3-tier wine distribution system.
Experience working in the hospitality industry.
Knowledge of wine varietals and their flavor profile.
Intermediate-level experience utilizing Google Docs, Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Experience identifying and resolving problems in an efficient manner.
Represent company in a professional and positive manner.
Prioritize and plan activities and use time wisely; able to deal with frequent changes, delays or unexpected events.
Must be able to travel, work some weekends and extra hours.
A positive “can do” attitude, consensus builder.
