About the Role
The Senior Designer is responsible for creating designs from brief to final artwork, working closely with the Bold Brands Marketing Team. The role will sit within our internal Creative Agency, Splash. The designer brings passion, initiative, and a proactive approach to producing fresh, high-quality creative for Bold Brands including Matua, 19 Crimes, Cali by Snoop, Drop of Sunshine and Squealing Pig.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver best-in-class design across print, digital events, and brand communications.
* Collaborate with creative and marketing teams to produce assets that align with brand tone and strategy.
* Ensure artwork adheres to brand guidelines, specs, and production standards.
* Maintain and evolve brand style guides and visual consistency.
* Manage multiple projects, balancing quality, timelines, and budgets.
* Mentor junior designers and share technical knowledge to elevate team output.
* Partner with the Design Director to foster a culture of creativity and continuous improvement.
* Stay current with design trends, tools, and technologies relevant to consumer brands.
* Custodian of brand tone and visual identity.
* Partner with the creative team to generate ideas aligned with marketing and campaign strategy.
About you
* 5+ years relevant design experience
* Demonstrated visual design experience through a digital portfolio
* Demonstrated understanding of the creative and production process and ability to collaborate
* Highly creative in developing innovative designs, layouts and concepts
* Demonstrate an understanding of the target customer segments and the brand visual identity
* Proficiency with relevant design tools such as Adobe CS is essential
* Experience creating dynamic content and/or HTML5 advantageous
* Knowledge and interest in wine industry (preferred, not mandatory)
* Enjoy being part of a team
* Preference given to candidates residing in the Bay Area with the ability to work out of the Napa office as required
* Experience in the alcohol beverage industry preferred

Pay Transparency Disclosure: The base pay range offered for this position is $100,000-$117,000 for candidates in California. These figures represent what we reasonably expect to pay for this position, but the actual compensation offered will depend upon numerous job-related factors, including but not limited to candidate qualifications, skills, experience, education, location, and alignment with market data.
