Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Specialist Assistant to join the Argyle Winery Hospitality team! Reporting to the Tasting Room Manager, this role is responsible for providing support to the hospitality team and help to create a memorable guest experience. The role supports Tasting Room sales staff to provide efficient and detailed oriented service. This role is responsible for providing services that make the experience seamless. This role is based in Dundee, OR and is a Part-time, non-exempt position, working Tuesday, Friday, and Saturdays and the incumbent qualifies for our outstanding health care benefits, PTO, 401k plan, wine allowance and more!

Minimum Qualifications:
- Stand and walk for long periods of time.
- Lift upwards of 50lbs. with or without reasonable accommodation
- Previous experience in a restaurant or Winery Tasting Room setting preferred
- Strong organizational skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow
- Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm
- Excellent customer service skills
- Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
- Must be able to provide U.S. Work Authorization without current or future sponsorship.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Clear, reset, and maintain tabletops as required throughout the day.
- Keep floor, furniture, menus, and place settings clean.
- Assist in retrieving wine orders, club shipments, bottles for restocking, and materials form the warehouse needed for service.
- Respond appropriately to guest requests, communicate guest requests to servers/manager immediately.
- Assist with pre/post shift setup and cleanup.
- Makes sure water stations, polishing stations, service stations, and bussing stations are set for service.
- Participates in staff training.
- Maintain the cleanliness of all back and front of house areas.
- Maintain health and safety regulations
- Perform other duties as assigned by manager.
