Summary:
The Project Manager will oversee and coordinate cross-functional winery projects from concept to completion, ensuring alignment between Sales, Procurement, Winemaking, Production, Marketing, Finance, and Compliance. The Project Manager will drive accountability, solve complex challenges, and foster collaboration across departments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with company goals and industry best practices.

You Will:
Lead winery projects from development through completion, ensuring scope, timelines, budgets, and quality standards are consistently achieved.
Influence and manage cross-functional resources while working effectively with diverse personality styles.
Serve as the central communication point between Sales, Procurement, Winemaking, Production, Marketing, Finance, and Compliance.
Partner with Sales to align customer expectations, timelines, and deliverables with internal capabilities.
Coordinate with Procurement to secure raw materials, packaging, and supplies within required lead times.
Collaborate with Winemaking and Production teams to schedule bottling, packaging, and compliance checkpoints.
Work with Marketing to ensure packaging, branding, and launch campaigns align with production schedules.
Partner with the Finance department to gather and analyze cost of goods sold and assist in developing pricing strategies for new product development projects, ensuring financial viability and alignment with business objectives.
Work closely with the Compliance department to ensure all new wine products including varietals, blends, labels, packaging formats, and brands meet federal, state, international, and internal regulatory standards throughout the development process.
Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and reports for leadership review.
Anticipate and identify project risks, escalating issues and resolving roadblocks to keep projects on track.
Facilitate project meetings, create and distribute clear agendas, and track action items to completion.
Monitor and report on project performance, ensuring accountability across all stakeholders.
Implement process improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce costs, or improve quality.
Support departmental leaders by developing and tracking operational goals aligned with the company’s strategic plan.
Ensure all projects adhere to winery compliance requirements, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Oversee departmental activities and ensure productivity levels meet or exceed expectations.
Develop strong working relationships across departments to promote collaboration and teamwork.
Present updates and project outcomes to managers, partners, and cross-functional business leaders.
Stay current with industry trends, innovations, and best practices, applying them to projects and operations.
Foster a continuous improvement mindset across teams, encouraging innovation and adaptability.
Support employee development by providing clear direction, feedback, and growth opportunities within project teams.
Ensure documentation, project specifications, and packaging approvals are reviewed with precision and accuracy.
Act as a problem solver and facilitator, ensuring projects progress smoothly despite competing priorities.
Promote and enforce a safety-first culture in all winery operations.

You Have:
3+ years of experience in project management, operations, or production coordination, preferably in the wine, beverage, or food industry.
Exceptional influencing capability with the ability to manage cross-functional resources and diverse personality styles.
Superior attention to detail with keen organizational and analytical skills.
Excellent oral and written communication across all levels of the organization, both formal and informal.
Strong problem-solving and project management skills, with prior hands-on experience preferred.
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, partners, and cross-functional business leaders.
Strong curiosity and drive for improvement.
PMP certification or equivalent is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to work in both office and production floor environments as needed.
Ability to lift up to 25 lbs. occasionally.
Flexibility to work extended hours during peak production periods.
