Clif Family is looking for a full-time Line Cook to support the operation of the Clif Family Winery and Bruschetteria Food Truck.

The Line Cook is responsible for executing the food truck menu under the direction of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef(s) and facilitating hospitality to our guests. This person will also be responsible for working on special events, working on special projects in the Clif Family Culinary kitchen and delivering culinary experiences to guests in our Tasting Room and Enoteca. Participating in continued educational experiences as well as hands-on training in all aspects of Clif Family Winery. The Line Cook supports the daily operations of the Clif Family Winery Culinary Program, including the Bruschetteria Food Truck, Tasting Room, Enoteca, and special events. This position is responsible for executing menu items to standard under the direction of the Executive Chef and Sous Chef(s), maintaining kitchen organization and cleanliness and ensuring a high level of hospitality and food quality. This position will require flexibility, in a high change environment where priorities will shift from day to day.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Execute food truck menu under direction from Executive Chef and Sous Chef(s).
• Assist with food truck daily operations and culinary kitchen needs. Ensure compliance with all sanitation standards and food handling regulations in both the food truck and kitchen operations
• Administer ideal sanitation and food handler practices both in food truck and kitchen.
• Adhere to all city and county regulations regarding health and safety of food truck operations.
• Assist in the execution of operating procedures for the truck, production kitchen and tasting experiences.
• Support culinary service for winery experiences, special events, and off-site functions.
• Provide outstanding experience for all customers to the food truck and at events associated with Clif Family.
• Complete all necessary training for preservation of food items and safety.
• Adhere to production schedules and cleaning schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service for food truck and at all events associated with Clif Family.
• Adapt to changing priorities and perform additional duties as assigned
SKILLS REQUIRED
• Passion for and knowledge of quality food preparation, presentation, and taste.
• Proven experience in cooking in a fast-paced professional kitchen.
• Ongoing ability to work weekends and flexible schedule.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to lift and carry up to forty-pound objects, up and down stairs.
• Ability to work in variable temperature conditions, hot or cold.
• Proven success in executing restaurant menus and/or recipes.
• 1-2+ years proven experience in the food service or hospitality industry
• California Food Handlers or ServSafe Certification
• Valid CADL and clean driving record
