Regional Sales Director - South

Job Description:

Overview: Senior strategic leader responsible for driving regional sales growth, profitability, and market share. Reports to the Chief Sales Officer (CSO) with full P&L accountability.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Growth & Strategy

-Lead regional sales strategy to drive revenue, depletions, and market share.
-Partner with CSO, Strategic Accounts, and Marketing to shape portfolio growth plans.
-Develop and execute annual sales and commercial strategies aligned with company goals.

Team Leadership & Development
-Build, lead, and coach a high-performing sales team (4 Regional Sales Managers; 4 Area Sales Managers).
-Recruit, retain, and develop talent with clear performance expectations and development plans.
-Foster a collaborative, accountable, and results-driven culture.

Distributor & Wholesaler Management
-Optimize distributor performance and accountability through metrics and performance reviews.
-Build strong top-to-top relationships with key partners (e.g., RNDC).
-Ensure superior execution and market coverage across all channels.

National & Regional Accounts
-Drive portfolio growth in key accounts with tailored execution plans.
-Leverage insights to unlock new opportunities and improve account performance.

Sales Planning & Analytics
-Utilize data, consumer insights, and category trends to inform planning and forecasting.
-Collaborate with BI and Finance to track KPIs, ROI, pricing, and promotional effectiveness.
-Maintain divisional scorecards and performance dashboards.

Financial & Commercial Management
-Own divisional P&L, budgets, and investment allocation.
-Analyze profitability and market dynamics to identify risks and growth opportunities.
-Ensure delivery of revenue, profit, and distribution targets.

Performance Indicators
-Achievement of revenue, profit, and market share goals.
-Successful execution of national programs and distribution targets.
-Strong team performance and 360° feedback from partners and peers.

Key Relationships
-CSO, SVP Marketing, Sales Leadership Team, Finance, BI, HR, and Customer Service.

Location
Preferred: Florida, Georgia, North Carolina, or Texas.

Experience
-Proven sales leadership in Wine & Spirits or Beverage Alcohol industry.
-Strong distributor/wholesaler relationships (e.g., RNDC).
-Track record of building and developing high-performing sales teams.
-Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Marketing, Finance, and BI.
