Assistant Marketing Manager

Job Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Marketing Manager to join the Argyle Winery Marketing team! Reporting to the Brand Manager, this role is responsible for the tactical execution of marketing and brand strategies, primarily in the DTC channel, to drive sales, visitation and brand growth in the community. This role acts as a passionate brand ambassador to internal and external constituents. This hybrid role is based in Dundee, Oregon and is a salary exempt position, working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm, with flexibility for weekend events upon request; role is primarily onsite but can offer 1-2 days remote and the incumbent qualifies for our outstanding health care benefits, PTO, 401k plan, wine allowance and more!

Minimum Qualifications:

5+ years of professional experience required, preferably in business or marketing (3+ years of Brand Marketing & 2+ years of hospitality experience preferred)
College degree required, preferably in business or marketing
Wine industry or DTC marketing experience is a plus
Understanding of consumer marketing and long-term brand building
Some knowledge of wine industry, including winemaking/styles/varietals and 3-tier system
Understanding of direct-to-consumer mechanics and how the spirit of hospitality can build a loyal following
Skilled at collaboration with cross-functional partners and achieving team results through strong partnerships
Strong organizational skills with proven ability to manage priorities and drive projects to completion
Proven communicationskills, including verbal (presentation) andwritten (email)
Strategic thinker with an innate curiosity to learn
Strong analytical skills and can mine data for key insights
Can identify our target consumer and create marketing programs that inserts our brands into their everyday lives
Good eye for design continuity and able to maintain and protect brand standards
Proficient in MicrosoftOutlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint, ChatGPT
Competent in Canva, Wordpress, Adobe
Must be able to provide U.S. Work Authorization without current or future sponsorship.
Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Brand Management
•  Participates in the development and execution of marketing strategies and tactics to deliver against near-term and long-term brand-building objectives
•  Assists Brand Manager, Argyle with packaging development and innovation/new products
•  Regularly review brand guidelines, standards, templates and marketing assets to support marketing and media needs. Ensure consistency of brand identity across all channels and customer touchpoints

DTC Team Support
•  Support the DTC team to deliver against their annual objectives by providing content and marketing assets (photography, video, messaging, etc.) in a timely manner
•  Support Argyle’s affiliate partners (e.g. Oregon concierges, restaurants,etc.) to promote visitation to Argyle’s Tasting House
•  Helping to plan and execute trade shows, consumer tastings, on-site winery events, and wine club member events. They often coordinate logistics and ensure a strong brand presence
•  Develops tools for internal training to support product releases and sales campaigns (Holiday campaign, new partnerships, newproduct releases)
•  Works with Digital Marketing agency for coordinating, approving, and collecting content for social media to drive visitation andsales through social channels
•  Monthly audit for all digital outlets for up-to-date content (website, reputation sites, industry sites, etc.)
