Today, our portfolio features some of North America’s most revered wineries, including Decoy, Paraduxx, Goldeneye, Migration, Canvasback, Calera, Kosta Browne, Greenwing, Postmark, and Sonoma-Cutrer.

The Regional California Sales Manager is responsible for achieving maximum sales potential throughout their assigned territory by meeting or exceeding assigned sales goals and budgeted expenses. This position must uphold the integrity of the company by following its guidelines and meeting its expectations, goals, and mission. In working towards this, the Regional California Sales Manager will access company resources, tools, and products and apply them to maximize sales potential measured by the region’s performance. This role is based in San Diego.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Deliver and achieve budgeted sales goals for the region.
•  Set and communicate monthly depletion targets and pricing programs with customers and direct reports.
•  Set goals, oversee activities, review performance, and provide direction for the district managers in your territory.
•  Increase market demand and acceptance through targeting and opening of new accounts, increasing sales to existing accounts, development of account bases, and working directly with top accounts in each market.
•  Stay alert to customer and sales trends that may indicate the company’s need to adjust go to market strategies.
•  Stay active in the wine community through frequent and positive networking with industry peers and key accounts.
•  Work with the Senior Director of California Wholesale Sales to develop and implement specific strategies in the market.
•  Recommend and implement decisions based on results of analysis that enhance the equity of the brand based on results of analysis.
•  Recommend and substantiate budgeting needs, sales tactics and strategies, appropriate size of account base, pricing, on/off mix, etc.
•  Create and manage monthly regional operational and sales budget.

What you will need:
•  Bachelor’s degree.
•  Minimum 5 years of sales experience in wine industry.
•  Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
•  Excellent analytical, organization, and planning skills.
•  Technology capable, computer skills including Microsoft Suite and CRM systems.
•  Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
•  Must possess a dependable vehicle, valid driver's license, proof of state car registration, insurance, and a clean driving record.
•  Must be at least 21 years of age.
