Position Summary:
As an Ecommerce Systems Administrator at Digital Beverage Group, you will be the go-to expert for maintaining and optimizing our Warehouse Management System (WMS), Shopify platform, and all related integrations. Reporting to the Director of IT, you will ensure smooth system operations, support ongoing enhancements, and enable seamless data flow between ecommerce and warehouse functions. This role combines technical proficiency with a customer-first mindset to drive operational efficiency and business growth.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with the Director of It and VP of Operations to define business requirements and workflows for Shopify, WMS and other system integrations.
Participate in the research and vetting process of new platforms, collaborating with operations and technology teams.
Configure, maintain, and optimize the WMS to support evolving business needs and inventory strategies.
Develop and maintain system documentation, including user manuals and training materials.
Collaborate with the operations and technology teams to define and implement system settings, workflows, and integrations with Shopify and shipping carriers.
Manage integrations between the WMS, Shopify, and other third-party systems to ensure accurate and timely data flow.
Troubleshoot and resolve operational system issues to maintain system reliability and performance.
Develop and execute data migration and testing plans for system updates and new implementations.
Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement improvements to ensure stability and efficiency.
Train and support users in both technical and operational roles to maximize system adoption and effectiveness.
Provide ongoing technical assistance, creating a reliable point of contact for system related inquiries.
Collaborate with the Director of IT to support Shopify projects, including product listings, inventory synchronization, and order fulfillment processes.
Participate in testing and go-live activities for ecommerce platform enhancements.
Assist with data-driven decisions by providing analysis on system performance and user
behavior.
Minimum Qualifications (SKILLS):
3+ years of experience in system administration or related technical roles, preferably in warehouse or ecommerce operations.
Proficiency with WMS platforms, Shopify, and integration tools.
Familiarity with databases and scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, or SQL).
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills with a focus on process improvement.
Clear and effective communicator with the ability to translate technical concepts for nontechnical stakeholders.
Strong ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Experience in training and supporting team members to achieve system mastery.
Ability to work on-site at our American Canyon office.
Familiarity with ecommerce and warehouse workflows, with a passion for creating efficient processes.
Position Details:
Location: Napa, CA/American Canyon, CA
Salary Range: $80,000-$95,000
Bonus: 5% of annual salary, paid annually
