Position Summary:
We’re seeking a strategic and results-driven Director of Sales – Central Division to lead brand growth, drive sales performance, and manage profitability across multiple states and wholesalers. This role oversees the Central region’s P&L, leads a high-performing sales team, and builds executive-level relationships with key distributors and customers. The ideal candidate brings deep industry expertise, strong analytical skills, and a proven track record in multi-state sales leadership.
This position blends strategic vision with hands-on execution, including regional program development, pricing oversight, and alignment with company goals. As a key representative of the Bogle Brands and Bogle family, the Director of Sales must embody professionalism, integrity, and leadership in every market interaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales
• Drive brand growth and meet/exceed sales goals across multiple states and wholesalers.
• Full P&L accountability for the Central region.
• Develop and execute strategic growth initiatives based on market analysis.
• Identify and act on opportunities and gaps in sales, distribution, profitability, and execution.
• Build and maintain strategic relationships with senior executives at key distributors and customers.
• Lead impactful business reviews and programming meetings with distributors.
• Monitor pricing strategies and ensure compliance across all channels and states.
Administrative
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual performance reviews.
• Report on key metrics including volume, distribution, spending, and competitive activity.
• Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements across responsible states.
• Conduct effective divisional and annual distributor programming and review meetings.
• Consistently monitor pricing objectives across all channels.
• Prepare monthly reports of key distributor organizational changes and competitive set activities.
• Performs additional responsibilities as needed to support team and business objectives.
Team Management
• Assign and monitor annual sales volume, budgets, and KPIs by direct reports.
• Direct consistent measurement of performance vs. established goals by direct reports.
• Manage distributors, including preparing and conducting regular and impactful business reviews with key distributor senior management.
• Own the relationship with all key distributors at the ownership and senior management level.
• Ability to identify potential problems and objectives and provide alternative strategies for success.
• Ensure accountability for team and individual growth results and effective communication at the state and channel management level by distributor.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of industry sales and sales management experience.
• Track record of strong leadership and success across multiple states and with key national distributors.
• Highest level of personal and professional integrity.
• Proven analytical skills.
• Goal-oriented, self-motivated with a passion for developing others.
• Ability to maintain excellent relationships with business partners.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment and thrive without daily guidance.
• Thorough knowledge of wine and the ability to express it clearly.
• Exemplary communication and presentation skills.
• Excellent skills in planning, organizing, ability to prioritize and financial acumen
• High competency in Microsoft Office, AC Nielson, IRI, and VIP.
• Must reside within their territory.
Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry at least 55 pounds frequently. Must be able to walk, sit, bend, twist, and/or stand for long periods of time. Must be able to sit, operate a computer, and use standard office equipment for extended periods of time. Must have a current driver’s license and be insurable by the company's insurance provider. Must have access to a dependable personal vehicle. Must be able to travel away from home extensively.
