POSITION SUMMARY:
This position will be responsible for national corporate account calls regionally representing the Kobrand portfolio and Regal Wine Co. This position will focus on increasing wineries distribution and case volume in the corporate retail space.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Work closely with Kobrand, winery partners, and Regal to support program execution in regards to compliance, execution and training
• Clear and constant communication on inventory levels, pricing, upcoming programs, company direction, priorities, and incentives
• Develop account penetration planning and strategy formulation
• Streamline pricing and manage inventories of special programs
• Provide educational wine training to key accounts through tastings and events
• Develop and continue to build relationships with regional buyers
• Construct unique and engaging wine presentations and sales tools that embrace Regal Wine Co and Kobrand company standards, programs and initiatives
• Ability to spend time in assigned market expanding business in top accounts
• Monthly, Quarterly and Yearly planning including: account partnership programs, work calendar and trade events
• Grow and foster professional relationships with key partners and accounts
• Communicate pertinent information between Regal, Kobrand management and corporate buyers
• Responsible for working within approved expense budget
• Continue to develop wine knowledge, business acumen and sales skills
• Display original thinking and creativity for problem solving
• Ability to work in a fast paced environment, multi-task, adapt and respond to change quickly
• Other duties as assigned by VP, Retail Sales
JOB REQUIREMENTS:
• Minimum 5 years alcohol beverage sales required
• Available to work flexible hours, Monday to Friday, and occasional weekends for special events
• Ability to travel within California up to 6x per year, out of the territory, for education and training
• Able to repetitively lift a minimum of 50 lbs; be able to bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and lift repetitively
• Must possess a current driver's license; maintain current auto insurance and a clean driving record
WAGE TRANSPARENCY:
The annual salary for this role ranges from $90,000-$121,000. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
In addition to the salary, Fine Wine Specialist are eligible for a discretionary bonus, $500 a month auto allowance, gas card for business, company issued cell phone, paid home internet (up to $50/month), expense account and other sales incentives.
