Position Summary:
The California Regional Manager – General Market is responsible for driving sales growth, managing distributor partnerships, key account relationships, and executing sales initiatives across the state of California. This role will lead a team of four Bogle Market Managers, overseeing both on and off-premises channel strategies, delivering sales training, and overseeing pricing, finance, and budget management. The ideal candidate is a results-driven leader with deep industry knowledge and a passion for wine.

Key Responsibilities:
•  Staff, coach, train, and manage a team of four Bogle Market Managers.
•  Manage distributor relationships throughout California, ensuring alignment with brand priorities and goals.
•  Develop and execute strategic sales plans for on and off-premises channels.
•  Monitor and manage pricing, promotional programs, and distribution targets.
•  Oversee regional budgets, analyze sales data, and provide regular performance reports.
•  Conduct winery education sessions and deliver sales training for distributors and retail partners.
•  Communicate business results monthly and lead wholesale quarterly business reviews.
•  Support the execution of marketing and trade programs at the regional level.
•  Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams to align business goals and market execution.

Required Qualifications:
•  Minimum 5 years of experience in the wine industry, with a focus on sales and distributor management.
•  Proven leadership experience, including managing teams and cross-functional projects.
•  Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
•  Strong understanding of California wine markets and distributor networks.
•  Must reside in Orange County, CA, and be able to travel extensively within the state.
•  Must possess a reliable personal vehicle and a valid driver’s license.

Preferred Qualifications:
•  Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Teams.
•  Experience with reporting and data tools such as iDig, VIP, Nielsen, and other sales analytics platforms.
•  Strong communication, presentation, and organizational skills.
•  Goal-oriented and self-motivated with a passion for developing others.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to lift and carry at least 55 pounds frequently. Must be able to walk, sit, bend, twist, and/or stand for long periods of time. Travel requirements: Must be able to travel away from home on an as-needed basis. Must be insurable by the company’s insurance provider.
