We’re looking for a People Business Partner Specialist to join our dynamic HR team and help support our employees and leaders to thrive. As a People Business Partner (PBP) Specialist, you will support key business functions by delivering high-impact HR solutions and day-to-day employee support. This role is ideal for an experienced HR professional with strong employee relations knowledge, a passion for collaboration, and a desire to make meaningful contributions to employee experience and organizational effectiveness.

What we will ask you to do:
•  Assist in the recruitment process, including posting jobs, resume screening, scheduling interviews, phone screens and conducting reference checks.
•  Assist with generating correspondence with applicants, including but not limited to offer letters, declination letters, resume received letters.
•  Assist with employee relations matters.
•  Assist with exit interviews for voluntary terminations.
•  Participate in people team projects and initiatives as assigned.
•  Assist with preparing documents, processing employee changes, and managing related inquiries.
•  Maintain accurate and up to date employee records, including personnel files, attendance records, and databases.
•  Ensure compliance with relevant labor laws and regulations, including EEOC, ADA, FMLA, CFRA, and FLSA.
•  Work closely with management and employees to strengthen work relationships, build morale, and increase productivity and retention.
•  Translate information and documentation verbally and in writing when necessary.

What you will need:
•  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
•  2 years Human Resources related experience.
•  Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
•  Detail oriented, proven ability to track, and prioritize.
•  Ability to listen and use critical thinking to assess the needs and communicate accurate information.
•  Experience in ADP Workforce Now highly preferred.
•  Knowledge of Federal, California, other state and local legal considerations.
•  Experience with HRIS, Microsoft Suite tools (including Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Access and Excel). Applicant Tracking Systems and talent management/performance management, application, benefits administration.
•  Excellent verbal and written (including reports) communication essential.
•  Appreciation of fine wine is a plus!
