National Accounts Manager – The Family of Silver Oak
Travel-Based | Full-Time
Location: Various U.S. Markets - Seeking candidates based in the following locations –
•  Midwest – preferably in Chicago, IL
•  Pacific Northwest – preferably in Seattle, WA
•  Southern US – preferably in Houton, TX

The Family of Silver Oak is growing, and we’re looking for someone who’s ready to grow with us. As our National Accounts Manager, you’ll play a key role in expanding our relationships with regional and national retail and on-premise partners across the country.

This isn’t just a sales job. It’s a relationship-building job. A roll-up-your-sleeves-and-dig-in kind of job. You’ll work closely with our distributor partners, our customers, and our internal teams to bring our wines to more people, in more places—always with intention and care.

If you’re someone who works hard, believes in doing things the right way, and wants to be part of a team that takes pride in both what we do and how we do it, we’d love to meet you.

What You’ll Be Doing
•  Serve as the key contact for our most important national and regional accounts in both retail and on-premise channels.
•  Build smart, strategic account plans that align with both customer and distributor goal and execute them with excellence.
•  Lead contract negotiations and RFPs, while seeking out new ways to bring value to our customers.
•  Design custom programs that reflect each account’s needs, strengths, and potential.
•  Partner closely with our distributor teams to ensure our wines are well-positioned, supported, and in stock.
•  Develop deep, trusting relationships with buyers and decision-makers to grow loyalty and long-term partnership.
•  Call on national and regional accounts—both independently and in tandem with distributor partners.
•  Stay curious: Use market trends, sales data, and customer feedback to find new opportunities and sharpen our strategy.
•  Work cross-functionally with internal teams to keep everything aligned—from marketing to logistics.
•  Team up with our Field Sales Manager to host tastings, trade events, and wine dinners, many of which take place in the evenings and on weekends.
•  Keep our senior leadership informed with clear reporting on account performance, forecasts, and key initiatives.
•  Represent the Family of Silver Oak with pride at industry events and account meetings across the country.
•  Pitch in with other projects and responsibilities as they arise—because we’re all in this together.

What We’re Looking For
•  5+ years of experience managing regional or national accounts—ideally in wine, beverage, or premium/luxury consumer goods.
•  A proven ability to think strategically, act decisively, and deliver results.
•  Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with a customer-first mindset.
•  A hands-on, self-motivated approach—you know how to prioritize and follow through.
•  Comfort with CRM systems and Microsoft Office 365 tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
•  A passion for wine and curiosity to keep learning—familiarity with our portfolio is a big plus.
•  Willingness to travel frequently—up to 80%—and the flexibility to attend evening/weekend events when needed.
•  A valid driver’s license and dependable transportation.

What Work Looks Like
•  Weekly travel within your territory to visit accounts, attend meetings, and lead events.
•  Lifting up to 35 pounds (wine samples, sales materials, etc.).
•  Working from a home office when not on the road—with occasional admin work handled from the car (parked!) or on-site at accounts.
•  Juggling multiple priorities while staying calm, focused, and people-first.

Why Join the Family of Silver Oak
•  Be part of a team that believes in excellence without ego. We support each other and celebrate wins together.
•  Represent some of the most respected wines in the country, backed by a legacy of craftsmanship and quality.
•  Enjoy competitive pay, premium benefits, and generous wine allocations.
•  Grow your career with opportunities for advancement, industry exposure, and ongoing learning.
•  Work in a culture grounded in family, sustainability, and doing the right thing—even when it’s not the easy thing.

Let’s grow something meaningful—together. If this role speaks to your head and your heart, we hope you’ll apply.
