Associate Developer - Enterprise Application Development

Position Summary:

As part of the Enterprise Application Development (EAD) team, the Associate Developer will work collaboratively with the Stakeholders, EAD team, business systems analysts, and rest of IT to design, develop, deliver, and support technology solutions that align with department goals and business strategies. This position is on-site at our Santa Rosa, CA offices.

Essential Responsibilities:
•  Manages tasks and small projects, gathers technical requirements, designs solutions, and participates in the development of roadmaps for enterprise application.
•  Responsible for providing customer support for software operational questions and issues.
•  Participates in the design, programming, testing, and debugging of application systems and application integration processes.
•  Create and maintain documentation to describe technical development and data validation/mapping.
•  Drive innovation cross functionally with customers, peers, and vendors to improve company efficiency and effectiveness.
•  Build partnerships with customers, peers and stakeholders and work closely with them to shape and influence the solution design.
•  Keep abreast of current software development trends and impacts to the company.
•  Recommend changes when appropriate.
•  Participate and provide after-hours and weekend escalated support as part of a rotating schedule and as needed.

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education:
•  Experience with Front-End development technologies (i.e. HTML 5, JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks).
•  Proficient with Back-End development technologies (i.e. JAVA, Python, SQL)
•  Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field; and 2 years relevant work experience.
•  Working knowledge of agile development methodology like SCRUM, full Software Development Life Cycle, code versioning and code review.
•  Experience with root cause analysis, debugging program code and root cause resolution.
•  Good communicator both written and verbal.
•  Good facilitator of meetings and small audience speaker.
•  Good planning, organizational, problem solving and analytical skills.

WAGE TRANSPARENCY:

The base pay for this role ranges from $30.00 - $42.00 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
