Cellar Worker - Premium Small Lot Winemaking

Plymouth, CA

Job Description:

Cellar Worker – Hands-On Role in Ultra-Premium Winemaking (Amador County)

We’re a small, passionate winery in beautiful Amador County, focused on crafting ultra-premium, award-winning wines - and we’re looking for a Cellar Worker to join our team. This is a unique opportunity to be involved in the entire winemaking process from start to finish, in a setting where your work truly makes an impact.

As part of a tight-knit crew, you’ll take ownership of all aspects of cellar work - learning, growing, and contributing to every vintage we produce. We’re serious about quality, but we also believe in loving what we do and enjoying the process.

What You’ll Do:
Perform all cellar operations including:

- Grape processing, pumpovers, punchdowns, and press operations

- Wine transfers, additions, racking, and blending

- Barrel work, cleaning, and maintenance

- Bottling prep and support

- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment

- Accurately track daily activities and follow established winemaking protocols

- Use your sensory skills to help detect potential issues and maintain wine quality

- Collaborate with a small, focused team where your voice and attention to detail matter

Who You Are:
- You come with at least 2 years of experience in the wine industry and one harvest under your belt

- You're organized, detail-oriented, and capable of managing tasks independently

- You take pride in your work and thrive in a hands-on environment

- You're a team player with a positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a sense of humor

- You’re physically able to lift 50 lbs, and comfortable working in a dynamic winery environment

- You’re passionate about wine and eager to grow in your craft

- Bonus if you’re forklift certified or experienced with small-lot premium production

Why Join Us:
We’re a small team doing big things -with an unwavering focus on quality, innovation, and authenticity. You won’t be siloed here; you’ll be a vital part of every stage of production and get to see (and taste) the results of your work. If you’re looking to deepen your experience in premium winemaking and work alongside people who truly care about what they do, we’d love to hear from you.
