Join our dynamic team and contribute to the winemaking process as a Weigh Station Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise weighing of truckloads containing grapes, raisins, and other essential materials, ensuring the accuracy of records and compliance with all regulatory requirements. Your keen attention to detail and dedication will help maintain our high standards in winemaking.

Your daily responsibilities will include preparing and completing various reports such as the Grape Tank Report, Grape Weigh Tag Display Report, Wine Program Report, and Grape Varietal Report. You will efficiently handle the weighing in and out of trucks, process weigh tags, and ensure all entries are accurate, promptly correcting any discrepancies. As you open the scales and sign into the computer terminal each morning, your preparedness will set the tone for a smooth grape crush operation.

Maintaining cleanliness in your work area is a priority, and you will be expected to uphold our sanitation standards by reporting any unsanitary conditions. Your role also includes closing out the scales and computer terminal each evening, filing paperwork diligently, and ensuring satisfactory attendance and timeliness.

What You Will Need:

High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate.
Required to be at least 18 years of age.
Skilled in basic math, 10 key data entry.
Required to lift and move standard office equipment and supplies that weigh up to 10 pounds.
Experience working in a team environment.
Skilled in using a copy machine, telephone, and ten-key adding machine.
Required to work a six (6) day workweek, eight to twelve (8-12) hours per day when necessary.
Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What Will Set You Apart:

Prior office experience preferred but not required.
Fluent reader and speaker of English.

Compensation:
•  Hiring Salary Range Posted: $21.75 / hour.
•  Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
