ESSENTIAL DUTIES/RESPONSIBILITIES:
•  Serve as the Sake ambassador in Northern California, building category knowledge and enthusiasm across the trade
•  Grow and foster professional relationships with AAA accounts in Northern California
•  Achieve Sake sales goals and incentives within the assigned territory. Goals may include new placements, cases, and revenue
•  Partner with Regal Sales Representatives to drive volume on Sake opportunities
•  Provide educational Sake training to accounts and staff through tastings, seminars and special events
•  Develop and continue to build relationships with Regal Wine Company management
•  Construct unique Sake presentations that embrace Regal Wine Co company standards, programs and initiatives and elevate trade credibility
•  Prioritize and preplan daily for each account to maximize efficiency and Sake business growth
•  Deliver sales presentations using Sake knowledge, ROI, margins and pour costs
•  Communicate pertinent information between management, accounts and marketplace
•  Ability to effectively present one-on-one or in a group setting
•  Continue to develop Sake knowledge, business acumen and sales skills to drive business
•  Ability to adapt to and respond to change quickly
•  Other duties may be assigned by Northern California Region Manager

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
•  Minimum of 2 years of beverage and/or Sake sales experience required
•  Sake certification (such as WSET Level 1-3 in Sake, Sake Adviser/Sommelier, SSA, or JSS) strongly preferred
•  Available to work flexible hours, Monday to Friday, and occasional weekends for special events
•  Ability to travel within California up to 6x per year, out of the territory, for education and training
•  Able to repetitively lift a minimum of 50 lbs; be able to bend, squat, climb, kneel, twist, and lift repetitively
•  Must possess a current driver's license; maintain current auto insurance and a clean driving record

WAGE TRANSPARENCY:
The annual salary for this role ranges from $87,000-$130,000. Compensation will be determined by the candidate's experience, skills, and location.

In addition to the salary, Sake Specialists are eligible for a discretionary bonus, $500 a month auto allowance, gas card for business, company issued cell phone, paid home internet (up to $50/month), expense account and other sales incentives.
