We have an immediate opening for an enthusiastic, solution focused, wine harvest experienced person to join our production team, as a harvest lead.

Harvest Responsibilities:
At harvest your day will start late morning, jumping in on all harvest duties related to making awesome wine – loading presses, cap management, racking, yeast specialist, to name but a few of the tasks.
Later in the day, when the winemaker leaves the building for the night, you will supervisor the harvest interns, alongside the full-time employees and close the place down.
What does this mean? You are the timekeeper, cheerleader, checker of lists, task manager, ensuring all team members complete their jobs for the day and the ferments are put to bed for the night.
Pre- and Post Harvest Responsibilities:
Support the bottling line and prepare the 2024 Pinot Noirs for bottling. Prepare the facility for harvest and assist with the training of the interns.
Post harvest, assist with prepping whites for bottling.
The position has an immediate start and is projected to last till December 30th 2025.
Required skills and experience:
• Worked at a 400+ ton winery during harvest in the cellar
• Held a leadership role in production space
• Positive attitude and motivational skills
• Attention to detail
• Time management skills
• Thrive in a fast paced, quality-focused environment
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Basic harvest skills including but not limited to: pump overs, punch downs, press loading and cleaning, racking, additions, inoculations, tank cleaning, drain cleaning and power washing
• Love of Pinot Noir and Pinot Gris
• Forklift experience in a winery
