Key Responsibilities:

Financial Leadership & Strategy

•  Ensure robust financial reporting, accounting integrity, and compliance with regulatory and tax requirements.
•  Provide actionable financial insights to the President, ownership and key stakeholders, fostering transparency and informed decision-making.
•  Collaborate with leadership and ownership to align financial strategies with operational and brand goals.

Operations
•  Improve operational processes, streamline systems, and enhance efficiencies to reduce costs and environmental impacts while maximizing productivity.
•  Work closely with the Director of Operations to manage co-packing relationships, custom crush arrangements, fulfillment operations, and key vendor partnerships.
•  Lead the development and implementation of operational best practices to support scalable growth while maintaining quality and brand integrity.

Human Resources & Administration
•  Oversee HR functions to ensure a healthy, inclusive, and legally compliant workplace that supports a high-performance, value-driven culture.
•  Lead the annual healthcare and business insurance renewal processes, evaluating and managing risks effectively.
•  Act as the company’s primary legal liaison, working with outside counsel as needed.
•  Develop and maintain policies and procedures related to finance, human resources, and operations, ensuring they reflect best practices and regulatory requirements.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Special Projects
•  Serve as a key partner to leadership and ownership in shaping and executing strategic initiatives and high-impact projects.
•  Identify operational barriers and develop solutions that enable business objectives and sustainable growth.

Qualifications:
•  Minimum 15+ years of progressive leadership experience in financial management and operations, ideally within the wine, food, beverage, or consumer goods industries.
•  Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, business administration, or related field; MBA or CPA highly preferred.
•  Proven track record of managing complex financial operations, driving profitability, and leading cross-functional teams.
•  Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to inspire and align diverse teams.
•  Highly analytical and strategic, with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and decision-making.
•  A self-starter who thrives in dynamic, entrepreneurial environments and brings a passion for operational excellence and innovation.
•  Experience managing legal and compliance matters, insurance renewals, and vendor relationships.
