Job Summary

This role will lead the Business Intelligence & Analytics Team that is responsible for driving transformational analytic capabilities, enabling stronger business performance. This position is responsible for elevating our overall category expertise by bridging sales, shopper, and channel insights to unlock category growth and solutions across the brands.

This role will be critical in managing analytics tied to scan sales, shopper behavior, and category trends using syndicated data sources such as IRI and Nielsen. The ideal candidate has strong experience in CPG or retail, a deep understanding of scan and panel data, and a passion for transforming data into business value.

Key focus areas will include:

•  Accountable for the development, adoption, and ongoing evolution of best-in-class reporting

•  Design and develop reports, dashboards, templates, visualizations, and scorecards to support business needs – including Commercial Reviews, Customer Meetings, QBRs (Quarterly Business Reviews), JBPs (Joint Business Planning), ETC.

•  Analyze and deliver insights from Retailer level data (Depletions, Syndicated, and Panel Data).

•  Blend data, research, analytics, and business acumen to provide actionable insights that will grow the business. Identify, prioritize, and implement analytical solutions that provide data driven insights to help answer critical business questions

•  Create transparency into financial results by working with business partners to understand trends and drivers to tell compelling stories that will drive business decisions.

•  Planning - Establish a uniform “bottoms up” volume planning process by brand across all North American businesses inclusive of price elasticities, category calls, distribution and competitive impacts, macro-economic factors, etc.

•  Define and partner closely with IT team to develop the data and technology infrastructure that will best facilitate effective analysis and positively impact the business.

•  Coach the organization to leverage data driven insights in a timely and impactful way. Drive a cultural shift towards data centric decision making.

•  Lead 3rd Party (Data Driven) Vendor Relationships (IRI/Nielsen, Wine Intelligence, IWSR, VIP, PowerBi, ETC).

Education/Background

•  Bachelor’s degree in business, Computer Science, Data Analytics or any related field

•  7+ years supporting Business intelligence and reporting, including 3+ years in a CPG/retail environment working with syndicated data.

Experiences.

•  Deep knowledge of reporting tools and visualization techniques and expertise with visualization tools like Tableau, DOMO, Power BI, Nielsen/IRI.

•  Deep experience with IRI, Nielsen, or other syndicated data providers; familiarity with retailer portals is a plus (e.g., Walmart Luminate, Kroger 84.51°).

•  Strong analytical skills with the ability to synthesize, prioritize and distill insights and recommendations.

•  Skilled in PowerPoint to create compelling stories through insights.

•  A strong bias for action & results
