Position Summary:
The Procurement Specialist supports the procurement team at Jackson Family Wines in the day-to-day sourcing and purchasing of Direct Materials such as glass, corks, labels, capsules, screwcaps, and shipping materials. This role ensures materials are ordered and delivered on time, pricing is accurate, and supplier communications are tracked. The Procurement Specialist also assists with spend analysis, reporting, and cross-functional collaboration with key internal and external stakeholders
Key Responsibilities (include but are not limited to):
• Work closely with the procurement team to ensure timely and cost-effective sourcing of materials.

• Coordinate with suppliers to obtain quotes, place purchase orders, manage deliveries, and address issues.
• Maintain pricing records, open order reports, and supplier documentation.
• Analyze inventory data, production schedules, and other relevant information to identify areas for improvement
• Compile procurement data and prepare reports for internal and cross-functional teams.
• Help monitor supplier performance metrics such as service, quality, and delivery.
• Provide administrative support for procurement projects, meetings, and cross-functional collaborations.
• Ensure purchasing processes follow internal controls and documentation standards.
Background/Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in Procurement, Purchasing, or Supply Chain Administration.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Experience in Excel, Outlook, and MRP systems (e.g., JDE, SAP).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a team-oriented environment.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
• Proactive problem-solver with a growth mindset.
• Team player who actively contributes to department goals and project execution.
Wage Transparency:
The base salary for this role ranges from $67,000 - $82,000 annually. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
