Essential Functions:

•  Establish and maintain a good working knowledge of all delivery routes and customers.
•  Dispatch delivery drivers to include providing routes/assignments each day.
•  Monitor delivery drivers throughout the day using MobileCast.
•  Handle calls from delivery drivers, accounts and sales personnel and try to resolve issues as they arise.
•  Respond timely to phone calls from Drivers and Sales (and if applicable, 3PL customers).
•  Provide direction to delivery drivers on how to handle situations that arise while making deliveries or taking back returns.
•  Works with customer service on missed deliveries and turn arounds.
•  Contact accounts to advise of late deliveries or inability to make deliveries in that day and follow up with sales personnel.
•  Research and coordinates distribution of invoices to field and sales reps.
•  Tracks daily exceptions by entering them into the system and providing a daily report to management.
•  Provides updates on driver statistics for start and end of day.
•  Responsible for assisting with safety programs, including investigation of accidents and injuries. Help make recommendations to prevent future incidents.
•  Meets agreed upon goals and objectives effectively and in a timely manner.
•  Arrives to work, meetings, appointments and other work-related functions on time and as scheduled.
•  Assists with administrative functions supporting the transportation department to include, but not limited to daily, weekly and/or monthly reporting and DOT programs such as random drug testing and MVR reports.
•  Ability to work overtime as needed

Other Functions:

•  Act as a backup driver and/or router as necessary.
•  Follows all safety policies and procedures; communicate hazards and/or suggest improvements to Manager
•  Other duties as assigned

Working Conditions:

Prolonged sitting while multi-tasking including answering calls and emails. When driving, ability to work in severe weather conditions; both heat and cold.

Equipment/Machinery Used:

Office equipment (including computer/printer, fax, photocopier, calculator, and telephone) & timeclock. May use: Pallet jack, forklift, cherry picker, reach truck.

Physical Requirements:

Visual acuity and manual dexterity. When driving, reaching, bending, and lifting and moving up to 50 lbs.

Minimum Requirements:

•  High School Diploma/GED
•  Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook.
•  Experience working with a route delivery system such as Roadnet and MobileCast
•  Excellent organizational and customer relations skills.
•  Ability to work with all levels of management within Winebow, as well as to provide excellent customer service to our clients/customers.
•  Demonstrated effective communication skills.
•  Must be able to work extended daily hours as business volume requires.
•  Must be able to work all holiday hours as the posted schedule requires.
