Account Manager - Military Channel - This position will be based in Dallas, TX and requires regular travel within your assigned territory. Occasional travel to company sites may be required as needed.

As an Account Manager, you will be the linchpin in communicating with wholesalers and the Gallo Distributor Management team, ensuring the seamless execution of chain priorities and programs. You'll spend significant time in the field, conducting market visits, evaluating opportunities, and implementing best practices to maximize our impact across all Customer Development accounts in your region. Your goal will be to develop and achieve revenue and profit growth objectives while continuously improving our Customer Development Standards of Performance.

You'll partner with Category Management to analyze market trends, sales data, and forecasts, identifying business opportunities and crafting strategic initiatives to drive success. Developing Joint Business Plans with customers, managing corporate resources, and presenting compelling presentations to secure new product distribution will be key aspects of your role. Additionally, you'll identify growth opportunities across various platforms, including brick & mortar, online, and third-party environments.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you'll work cross-functionally with senior management, marketing teams, e-commerce teams, and more within the customer's organization. You'll also develop open communication channels internally and externally, ensuring alignment between the winery and distributor sales organizations. What You Will Need:

•  Bachelor's degree plus 2 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated or Non-affiliated Distributor sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of CPG sales/account management, retail sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 6 years of E. & J. Gallo Winery Sales, Gallo Affiliated or Non-affiliated Distributor Sales experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility; OR High school diploma or state-issued equivalency certificate plus 7 years of CPG sales/account management, retail sales/account management, or corporate business development reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
•  Candidate is required to have a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and reliable vehicle (if applicable) at the time of hire. This position will undergo a motor vehicle check (MVR) to confirm a history of safe and responsible driving. If needed, candidate must obtain the appropriate state driver's license based on the position's location within 30 days of hire.
•  Required to obtain Liquor License as required by state/locality.
•  Required to travel by air and automobile up to 50% during the course of business.
•  Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
•  Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

What You Will Set You Apart:

•  Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of Gallo winery or distributor sales or category development experience to include a prior rotation as a Market Development Manager, Market Development Manager Sr, Spirits Development Specialist, or Account Manager 1; OR Bachelor's degree plus 5 years of external alcohol sales experience to include account management experience.
•  Skilled in communication, project management and analysis.
•  Skilled in the use of MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Access, GCO, IRI, Spectra, MS Excel and ProSpace at a basic level.

Compensation:

•  Hiring salary range posted: $91,500 - $137,300 / year
•  Actual compensation paid within the range will be determined by factors such as the education, experience, knowledge, skills and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
