Job Description:

ELECTRICIAN JOB DUTIES:
•  Works with JFI Electrical Management in a wide variety of electrical system maintenance, troubleshooting repairs and services, including low voltage up through 3-phase systems and in the installation of new electrical systems including service upgrades, EV infrastructure, and winery upgrades and improvements.
•  Work with Electrical Management to develop a Preventative Maintenance Schedule/Program and criteria per facility from Oregon to Santa Maria and any associated outbuildings which includes winery buildings, hospitality buildings, company housing. Scope TBD.
•  Bi-annual preventative maintenance for all facilities and housing (DTC and Employee) interior and exterior lighting.
•  Annual preventative maintenance for permanent generators not under a maintenance contract companywide which includes electrical testing and replacement of filters and oil as required.
•  Assist Electrical Management and Winery Maintenance Managers in the connection, testing, and implementation of harvest rental generators.
•  Work with Electrical Management in assisting 3rd party companies performing Thermal Imaging for facilities companywide during harvest.
•  Assist Electrical Management with the local repairs and remediation of equipment flagged as a result of Thermal Imaging.
•  Work with JFI Property Maintenance team for all service calls, troubleshooting, repairs, upgrades to electrical infrastructure or systems, and necessary upgrades to all H2A housing on an annual basis.
•  Assist in monitoring work being performed by outside contractors, as it pertains to related trades that can affect the related scope of work.
•  Responsible for alerting the management of any unusual occurrence, hazardous conditions and/or damage that have taken place or that may occur.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Essential Skills, Experience, and Education
•  High School diploma or equivalent. At least 8 years in electrical field with extensive well-rounded knowledge of residential, commercial, and industrial electrical. Valid California Driver's license and clean DMV record.
•  Reliable transportation.
•  Ability to maintain professional decorum in the office environment.
•  Basic electrical tools.
•  Ability to follow direction and stay on task to project completion.
•  Ability to be flexible and multitask.
•  Cooperative/adaptable and able to work with different individuals, groups, and settings.
•  Effective communication skills, written and verbal.
•  Written communication skills necessary for completing forms and log entries of daily/weekly accomplishments.
•  Basic computer skills necessary for communicating via email, expense reconciliation, completing basic forms; MS Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
•  Ability to work overtime, and/or direct after hours/emergency shift occasionally.
•  Hold a current Journeyman Electrician Certificate.
•  Ability to read construction drawings and navigate specifications.
•  Be a self-motivated problem solver and able to work alone without supervision.
•  Proficient in all aspects of 3 phase electrical systems.
•  Must have an acute attention to detail.

Physical Requirements:
•  Must be able to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.
•  Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 75 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds
•  This job requires frequent standing, use of the hands and reaching with both the hands and arms.
•  Occasional sitting, walking, climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching or crawling.
•  Position requires the ability to distinguish between colors, adjust focus as well as peripheral, close and distance vision.
•  Ability to work with heights (working on ladders, roofs, catwalks, etc.)
•  The employee is occasionally exposed to wet and/or humid conditions
•  The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat

WAGE TRANSPARENCY: The base pay for this role ranges from $33.70 - $42.66 per hour. Compensation will be determined by candidate experience, skills, and location.
