We are a growing winery seeking a motivated and positive-minded addition to our team during the 2025 harvest. This hands-on opportunity will allow you to contribute to all aspects of our production process including fruit processing, fermentation tracking, cleaning and barreling down. This paid seasonal position will run from September through mid-November, depending on the growing season with potential to start earlier if interested.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Cleaning and sanitation of crush equipment, tanks, and winery facilities
- Grape receival and monitoring of crush equipment
- Cellar Management: including, racking, pumpovers, and punchdowns
- Minimal lab work such as Brix, temps, pH and TA readings
- Fermentation additions (ie: sugar, yeast, nutrients)
- Various other duties around the winery
This job is physically demanding, so the ability to lift to 50 pounds, climb stairs/ladders, push/pull heavy objects (like pumps, pomace and fruit bins), and stand for extended periods of time in cold/wet and hot environments is required. Candidates should maintain a positive attitude, being able to work both as a team and independently. Working long hours including nights and weekends is expected. Forklift experience is a plus!
