ABOUT DE MAISON SELECTIONS
De Maison Selections is an importer of wines and spirits from Spain and France and beyond, focusing on producers who respect their land, traditions, and craft. We believe in authentic products that express a sense of place and purpose.

De Maison Selections is seeking a creative, well-connected beverage professional to drive our spirits and no/low portfolio growth across New York, New Jersey, and nationally. This role offers the perfect blend of hands-on market development, creative brand storytelling, and strategic business growth.

THE OPPORTUNITY
As our Spirits Portfolio Manager, you'll become an essential cross-functional leader working across sales, marketing, and logistics teams. Based in the NYC area, you'll divide your time between:
-Building the NY/NJ market: Securing prime placements in influential restaurants, bars, and retail accounts
-Developing national distribution: Working with partners across the country to expand our footprint
-Creating compelling brand narratives: Crafting cocktails, developing content, and leading educational initiatives
-Identifying growth opportunities: Leveraging market insights to develop new products and partnerships

WHO YOU ARE
-You have hospitality in your DNA with experience as a beverage manager, bartender, restaurant manager, or similar role
-You've built strong relationships throughout the NY/NJ beverage community
-You have a passion for spirits knowledge and cocktail development
-You balance creative vision with strategic business thinking
-You're ready to translate your on-premise expertise into a broader industry role

WHAT YOU BRING
-4+ years of demonstrated success in spirits sales, marketing, or brand management (or comparable hospitality experience with transferable skills)
-Strong personal network in the NY/NJ market
-Exceptional cocktail creation skills and flavor development abilities
-Full-cycle sales experience and relationship-building talents
-Strong social/digital media capabilities
-Knowledge of spirits, wine, and saké categories
-Japanese, French, and/or Spanish proficiency preferred to support international expansion and key global partnerships

THE DETAILS

Schedule: Monday-Friday with occasional evening/weekend work for events
Travel: Regional travel with 25-35% overnight domestic trips and occasional international opportunities
Location: Hybrid role with 2 days/week in the DME NY office; must live within commuting distance of NYC

Compensation:
Base Salary: $85,000-$95,000 depending on qualifications
Total Target Bonus: 15-25% of base salary, with quarterly and annual KPIs.
