Our soon-to-open tasting room in Redmond will offer a welcoming space for wine lovers to connect with our wines, discover the stories behind them, and experience the artistry of winemaking.
Overview:
We are looking for passionate, reliable, and hospitality-driven individuals to join our tasting room team as Tasting Room Lead and Associates. These role offers a unique opportunity to be part of a growing winery that values quality, community, and exceptional guest experiences. As a key face of our brand, you’ll guide visitors through wine tastings, share our story, and help create a memorable, educational, and enjoyable experience for every guest.
Key Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with warmth and professionalism, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere.
- Lead wine tastings, educate guests on our wines, winemaking philosophy, and vineyard practices.
- Accurately describe wine characteristics and guide guests through tasting flights.
- Operate POS systems for wine and merchandise sales; manage cash and credit transactions.
- Assist with opening and closing duties, including setup and cleanup of the tasting room.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all guest areas and back-of-house spaces.
- Monitor inventory levels of wine, food, merchandise, and supplies.
- Support private tastings, wine club events, and other on-site experiences.
- For Lead-level staff: oversee daily shift operations, support team members, and act as point person in the absence of the manager/owners.
Requirements:
Must be 21+ years of age.
- Prior hospitality, retail, or tasting room experience preferred (Lead-level applicants must have prior supervisory or leadership experience).
- Strong communication skills, a love for storytelling, and a passion for wine. Advanced wine knowledge or certification (e.g., WSET, CMS, CSW) is a plus.
- Proficiency with POS systems, reservation platforms, and inventory management.
- Must be available to work weekends, holidays, and evenings as scheduled.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
- Required permits (MAST and Food Handler’s) or ability to obtain promptly.
Schedule:
- Part-time, Friday through Monday shifts.
- Weekend availability is required.
