The Mission of Frog’s Leap is to make wines of terroir, responsibly farmed, sustainably produced and joyfully shared. Our winery has been family owned and operated since 1981. You can read up on our history on our website: www.frogsleap.com.
At Frog’s Leap, wine is more than a product — it’s a story of place, people, and stewardship. As our Wholesale Sales Operations Specialist, you’ll orchestrate the daily operations that help share that story with the world. From processing orders and safeguarding compliance, to maintaining pricing integrity across 50+ markets, to delivering insights from data, your work will weave operational excellence with strategic support. You’ll be the link between our Sales Managers, distributors, and internal team members — ensuring that every transaction, allocation, and communication reflects our mission -- to make wines of terroir, responsibly farmed, sustainably produced and joyfully shared.
This role blends hands-on logistics with strategic collaboration, perfect for someone who sees numbers as narratives, prizes precision, and thrives in a dynamic, mission-driven environment.
What You’ll Cultivate:
Operational Excellence
• Process orders, manage distributor inventories and allocations across 50+ global markets, and coordinate special label requests through Salesforce and DeVineWare.
• Maintain national and export price lists; coordinate price change approvals.
Data Synthesis & Reporting
• Harvest insights from Nielsen/IRI data and depletion reports, distilling complex trends into actionable stories for our Regional Sales Managers.
• Craft monthly compliance reports and inventory reconciliations with precision
Compliance & Administration
• Uphold pricing strategies and ensure compliance with state regulations— protecting and maintaining brand equity.
• Prepare monthly depletion allowance accruals and wholesale compliance reports.
• Maintain Salesforce databases with accurate and up-to-date distributor contacts and compliance documentation.
Cross-Team Support
• Act as primary liaison for distributor queries, sample coordination, and incentive programs (~30% weekly focus).
• Collaborate with DTC teams on inventory transfers and unified revenue strategies.
• Support Regional Sales Managers with RFP submissions (e.g., Darden, Whole Foods) and chain retail program execution.
About You:
• You have 3-5 years of similar wholesale operations experience in the wine/beverage industry.
• You see data as a narrative, not just numbers. Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP) are your second language.
• You navigate compliance (eRNDC/SGWS portals), DeVineWare, and Salesforce like a seasoned sommelier.
• You are a strong collaborator who thrives in team environments.
• You are a nimble problem solver who quickly pivots to meet the challenges of the day, bringing creativity and persistence to achieve goals.
• You take initiative and can work independently with minimal supervision.
• You have excellent written and verbal skills.
What’s In It for You
• Work/ Life balance encouraged, so we offer up to 17 PTO days per calendar year (plus a birthday holiday!)
• Full Suite of Benefit Offerings: Medical, Dental, Vision, Employee Assistance Program/Additional FSA and Voluntary health plans. And to sweeten the deal, we pay 80-90% of the medical premiums for employees.
• 401(k) Retirement plan with company match. Cha-ching!
• Health and Wellness Reimbursement to encourage your extracurricular activities
• Fresh organic produce from our edible gardens and orchards during the growing season
