While we highly value prior harvest experiences we also strongly encourage you to apply if you have a positive attitude, a great work-ethic, are self-motivated, strong organizational skills, and can adapt with the season and job responsibilities. The job is physically demanding, so the ability to lift 75 pounds, climb stairs, push/pull heavy objects (like pumps and stem bins), and stand for extended periods of time in cold/wet and hot environments is required. Candidates are also expected to work long hours including early mornings, nights, and weekends.
This will be an opportunity to learn how to make estate Bordeaux wine on the west side of Paso Robles with many learning opportunities – both with instruction and on your own. The most important qualifications are passion and work ethic!
Dates: August to approximately mid-December. As the growing season progresses, we will have a better idea of the exact starting and finishing dates.
Candidates must be available without interruption for the entire length of harvest.
Pay is dependent on past cellar experience.
