In 1972, Chuck Wagner started Caymus Vineyards with his parents, Charlie and Lorna – a family of farmers with deep roots in the Napa Valley dating back to the 1850s. Although the Wagners are famous for producing their highly sought after Napa Cabernet Sauvignon, they don’t plan on resting on those laurels. Chuck, his son Charlie, and his daughter Jenny are now exploring and farming Suisun Valley, a lesser known wine region east of Napa Valley, whose wines rival their more famous neighbor in expression and intensity. Position Summary:
We are looking to expand our team of energetic professionals with a solid work ethic and a strong commitment to hospitality. We are hiring part-time and full-time Tasting Room Staff (Wine Educator, Host/Hostess, and Support Staff). These roles will work under the direction of the Tasting Room Management Team, and while previous hospitality experience is not required, an enthusiastic love of wine and people is essential.

Duties, Responsibilities and Minimum Qualifications:
Wine Educator
•  Ability to create a superb guest experience in private and group settings
•  Operate cash register transactions accurately and efficiently
•  Operate POS system for guest purchases (iPad system)
•  Maintain an organized and neat work environment
•  Professional appearance and gracious demeanor
•  Learn and communicate the key points of the Wagner Family of Wines Collection and the family history
•  Solid wine foundation with knowledge of Suisun, wineries, and restaurants is required
•  Must be at least 21 years old
•  Must be a team player and able to collaborate with others
•  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Salary Range $30 - $32 / hr

Host/Hostess
•  Greet and welcome guests with a genuine and courteous smile
•  Operate the Resy reservation system
•  Multitask guests’ check-in and seating
•  Organize daily seating
•  Preparing complimentary coffee for guests
•  Ability to operate a phone, computer, iPad, and POS system
•  Professional appearance and gracious demeanor
•  Must be a team player and able to collaborate with others
•  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Salary Range $22 - $24 / hr

Support Staff
•  Responsible for daily set-up
•  Restock wine, water, and glassware
•  Wash and clean wine glasses
•  Prepare cheese and charcuterie boards
•  Assist wine educators as directed
•  Properly sanitize guests’ areas
•  Must be a team player and able to collaborate with others
•  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Salary Range $20 - $22 / hr

Working Conditions:
•  Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, late nights and holidays

Physical Requirements:
•  Ability to stand for long periods of time
•  Ability to walk long distances within the facility on a regular basis
•  Ability to work in different exposures: indoor, outdoor, hot, cold, wet or dry
•  Ability to lift/move/carry 50 pounds on a frequent basis
•  Regularly bend, stoop, reach, kneel, crouch or climb
