As a Production Maintenance Line Technician, you will be responsible for ensuring optimal performance and efficiency of all production equipment. Our facility utilizes state-of-the-art technology, including advanced recipe-based systems and automated processes, all while maintaining the highest safety standards. This role is crucial to supporting our commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence. The technician will utilize a comprehensive CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to track, manage, and streamline maintenance activities, ensuring that equipment downtime is minimized, and maintenance procedures are followed systematically. Additionally, food safety is a key priority, and all maintenance procedures must comply with the necessary standards to guarantee the safety and quality of products.
Responsibilities
• Collaborate with production personnel to maximize equipment efficiency during production hours
• Ensure timely and accurate startups, including necessary adjustments for different product runs
• Work closely with production maintenance specialists for troubleshooting and employing their expertise
• Perform mechanical adjustments and repairs to stay within package specifications
• Manage equipment changeovers for different product lines with minimal downtime
• Provide effective troubleshooting, diagnostics and mechanical repairs on all production equipment
• Perform shutdown operations on all lines as necessary
• Communicate with Team Coaches and operators to resolve any performance issues
• Ensure all machinery operates safely, implementing necessary safety modifications and upgrades
• Participate in ongoing maintenance and improvement initiatives to maintain world-class operational standards
• Additional duties as assigned
Must Requirements
• HS diploma, GED or equivalent
• Minimum 1-3 years experience as a skilled maintenance mechanic in high-volume environment
• Journeyperson / journeyman level knowledge of mechanics
• Basic PC skills and knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including Word; internet and email
• Successful completion of accredited apprenticeship, a plus
• Class C Driver's License required
• Ability to work in a loud production environment
• Ability to communicate effectively with co-workers in English, both written and verbal
• This is a 4-day/10-hour per day position with anticipated schedule of Tues-Fri 5am-3:30pm. May require occasional overtime and may require call-in status for emergencies. During busy periods, effort will be made to provide employees with adequate advance notice should overtime become necessary. All overtime work must have the prior authorization of the employee’s supervisor before it is performed.

Preferred
• Certification from a trade school in mechanical systems, troubleshooting, critical thinking and fabrication skills, with a focus on honing overall mechanical abilities
• Work with Computer Maintenance Management System (CMMS)
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs on a frequent basis; push/pull up to 30 lbs on a frequent basis; requires constant standing; frequently walks; occasionally sits, climbs, crawls, squats, kneels, and bends; reach outward and upward; requires hand and finger dexterity for keyboarding and working at a computer. Requires PPE such as safety-toe footwear, hearing protection and safety glasses.
Schedule - This is a 4-day/10-hour per day position with anticipated schedule of Tuesday – Friday 5am – 3:30pm. May also require occasional overtime and call-ins in the case of emergencies
Compensation - The target hourly range for this role is $35 to $38 per hour. Actual rates will vary and are based on a candidate’s relevant education, qualifications, experience, skillset, competencies, internal equity, location and alignment with market data.
