Are you ready to take your tax accounting expertise to the next level? We are seeking a seasoned Senior Tax Associate to play a pivotal role in enhancing our tax systems and processes. In this crucial position, you'll be responsible for the preparation of tax returns and reports, ensuring compliance with FASB 109 for Tax Provision, and maintaining detailed tax records. You'll also engage in responding to queries from tax authorities, supporting audit processes, and conducting tax research to keep our practices ahead of the curve.

Your role will extend to preparing statistical and financial reports, implementing strategic tax initiatives, and fostering a culture of intrapreneurship and ownership within the team. What You'll Need

•  Bachelor's degree plus 4 years of Tax or Accounting experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility; OR
•  Bachelor's degree plus 3 years of Gallo Tax or Accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility.
•  Computer skills requirements include: basic MS Word; intermediate MS Excel.
•  Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
•  Required to be 18 years or older. This may be in addition to other age requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.

How You'll Stand Out

•  MBA or Master's degree in Accounting plus 5 years of tax or accounting experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibility OR Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (Accounting concentration) plus 8 years of tax or accounting experience reflecting increasing levels or responsibility.
•  CPA license.
•  Big 4 Tax or Accounting experience.
•  CCH Income Tax Software.
•  OneSource (Tax Stream) Provision Software.
•  SAP General Ledger System.
•  RIA/BNA Online Research Software.
•  Experience reading, analyzing and interpreting general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or governmental regulations.
•  Experience writing reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals.
•  Experience effectively presenting information and responding to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.
•  Skilled in calculating figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference and volume. Skilled in applying concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
•  Skilled in defining problems, collecting data, establishing facts and drawing valid conclusions. Skilled in interpreting an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
•  Skilled in performing work that is varied and may be somewhat difficult in character, usually involving limited responsibility, requiring frequent evaluation, originality and ingenuity.
•  Knows and applies the fundamental concepts, practices and procedures of this field of specialization.
