Job Description
The Lead Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for supporting various AR processes which includes but not limited to, reconciling accounts and ensuring accurate and timely payments. The specialist will work closely with all Scott Laboratories departments and customers and is responsible for a high level of customer service.

Key Requirements & Responsibilities:
•  Manage accounts receivable, including collections, customer communications and invoice/credit memos processing.
•  Customer credit card reconciliation
•  Prepare allowance for uncollectible accounts.
•  Support month end process, year-end audit, and other ad-hoc projects
•  Performs other duties as assigned.

Key Qualifications:
•  Detail-oriented and positive, can-do attitude
•  Ability to work independently with little supervision and in a team environment.
•  Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting receivable principles
•  Proven ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
•  Data entry skills along with a knack for numbers
•  Advance Excel skills
•  Hands-on experience with spreadsheets and proprietary software
•  Proficiency in English and in MS Office
•  Customer service orientation and negotiation skills
•  The high degree of accuracy and attention to detail
•  Entry level sales tax knowledge

Salary Range:
$32 - $37 per hour DOE
Hybrid position based in Petaluma, CA
