Job Description:

The Carlton Winemakers Studio is an alternating proprietor (AP) winemaking facility that hosts over fifteen different brands and their winemakers. Since its first vintage in 2002, The Studio has been the home and launching pad for some of the most renowned brands in the Pacific Northwest. We are an extremely dynamic winery that takes pride in providing an efficient, professional, and collaborative setting that enables our clients to make the best wines possible. Aside from maintaining the facility and assisting AP client winemakers, the Studio team is responsible for producing wine for two labels and providing custom crush services.

The Studio is looking for individuals who are good humored and work well in a team to assist with the 2025 harvest.

The position will start in early September, exact date to be confirmed closer to harvest, and typically continues through until late October/early November.


Interns are involved in a large variety of tasks that include but aren’t limited to:
•  Sorting fruit
•  Crushline management
•  Fermentation management – Brix and Temps, pump overs and punch downs
•  Cleaning … So. Much. Cleaning.
•  Press operations
•  Barrelling down
•  Basic lab analysis

We are also looking to fill a harvest enologist position for the right person. This role would focus on daily brix and temps, sample collection, fermentation addition, basic lab analysis and updating Vintrace. We anticipate that this would take up 25-40% of the day. The rest of the time would be spent completing cellar tasks. If this is something that interests you, please specify in your application.
