Job Description:
WineWise, a dynamic distributor importing European wines since 1989 with a well-established business throughout California is seeking sales representatives in three distinct regions:
#1: Los Angeles Area
#2: San Jose / South Bay
#3: East Bay / Solano / (Napa)
ABOUT WINEWISE
We represent an expansive range of top-quality producers from a dazzling array of family estates across Spain, Portugal, France, Austria, Germany, & Greece. Our reputation in the market is strong, and our team, both on the administrative and sales side, is highly motivated. People tend to stay with us for a long time.
WHAT WE OFFER
1. A mix of established & cultivable client base in each sales region
2. A generous commission on sales, paid every two weeks on paid invoices.
3. A supportive infrastructure with a familial company ethos.
4. A flexible work schedule that can evolve over time.
ABOUT YOU
Self-starter - You are organized, committed, responsive, and confident.
Adaptable - You may or may not have worked in sales before. That is less important than having the right mindset, a grounded sense of self-belief, and the discipline to plan and fill your days productively and efficiently.
Resilient - You are open to asking questions and not easily discouraged when customers resist or ignore you.
Team-oriented - You thrive in an entrepreneurial environment and possess excellent communication skills. We are a small company with strong leadership that is fully committed to supporting you and growing together. We cannot achieve this without a communicative team.
Curious - Academic certifications and/or strong wine knowledge are undoubtedly helpful, but we value a curious, passionate mind that loves to keep learning.
COMPENSATION RANGE
25K - 100K
The income range is illustrative since the position is 100% commission-based. Importantly, our current 10-person sales team works in flexible capacities, ranging from quarter- to full-time. This is reflected in the wide compensation range above.
