We are seeking a conscientious and organized candidate to join our operations team in New York City. The schedule will be Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM–6:00 PM, with one scheduled day per week from 11:30 AM–8:30 PM. This role will support our sales markets and involves ensuring efficiency and accuracy in processing distribution operations, supporting sales representatives, organizing logistics and tracking the receipt of new products to the warehouse and handling customer service inquiries.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Order Board
• Receive and process orders from the order board
• Manage pricing guidelines and validate each line item
• Receive and assess all delivery errors and warehouse mistakes
• Track returns and issue customer credit memos when due
Sales Representative Support
• Process order amendments
• Handle product shorts and communicate restocking details
• Process customer account setup
Inventory Management
• Process inventory from warehouses to maintain reporting accuracy and minimize product loss
• Track and report lost and damaged inventory by warehouse and shipping companies
• Manage, track, and submit claims for loss and damaged bottles
• Receive and process any delivery and inventory issues
Customer Service
• Enter orders and act as a sales representative for unassigned accounts
• Coordinate with finance department to communicate past due invoices
• Answer phone and customer email requests
Purchase Logistics
• Arrange and track transit for inbound purchase orders
• Validate warehouse receipt and receive product to Business Central
• Advise sales teams of ETAs and new arrivals
QUALIFICATIONS
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Work well with team members & leaders
• Able to make decisions & solve problems
• Able to obtain & process information
• Able to lift 40 lbs.
• Able to work at a computer for extended periods
