Three Sticks is seeking winemaking interns to assist its core team for the 2025 harvest!

Three Sticks, located in Sonoma, CA, is a premier producer of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay wines. Our philosophy is to produce wines of world class quality from our six exceptional estate vineyards located across Sonoma County, including our flagship ranches, Durell and Gap's Crown. This gives us a unique autonomy to farm the grapes with the utmost precision and hone in on our picking decisions. We are passionate about what we do and look for like-minded interns to help us make our distinct wines.

Successful candidates will share our passion for wine, be detail-oriented, excited to work hard, and have a positive attitude. Interns will gain first-hand experience of Three Sticks unique winemaking style while be apart of a dynamic, international harvest team. We provide lunches nearly everyday during harvest, and enjoy sharing wines from around the world with the intention of educating the future winemakers of tomorrow.

As we are a small, hands-on operation, interns will assist in all facets of harvest work including:

•  Grape maturity sampling in the vineyard
•  Sorting fruit during crush
•  Fermentation management, monitoring, and analysis
•  Making basic additions
•  Cleaning and sanitizing equipment
•  Punchdowns/pumpovers
•  Barrel work

Positions will run from early-August through mid-October, depending on the growing season.

Requirements:

•  Previous winery experience is strongly preferred, but we are looking for anyone passionate about getting into winemaking
•  Forklift experience is a plus
•  Team-player; enthusiastic can-doer
•  Ability to work long hours and on weekends as needed
•  Ability to read, write and speak English
•  Ability to lift 50 lbs.
•  Studies in viticulture or enology or related sciences preferred
•  Reliable transportation to and from work (due to our location, public transportation is very limited)
•  Hourly pay is determined based on experience
•  A J-1 visa must be secured by individuals without U.S. citizenship
