We are looking for a dynamic manager to join our team! This position will be responsible for sales of the wines represented in the company portfolio, via relationships with restaurants & retailers in the San Francisco area. Working as a collective team with shared vision, our focus is communicating the stories & voices of the wineries in the Grand Cru Selections CA portfolio to accounts, while serving as ambassadors of the company when interfacing with the hospitality community.
RESPONSIBILITIES
-Act as liaison and ambassador of the company, making regular sales calls & visits to designated accounts to cultivate customer relations and satisfaction with service provided;
display an unwavering dedication to hospitality and education when engaging accounts at their locations; conduct seminars/tastings at accounts, as well as at company tastings
& events, product launches & visiting winemaker dinners; develop key account relationships that deliver measurable results
-Implement and execute strategic sales initiatives
-Spend at least 50% of time doing market work
-Collaborate with management and colleagues on inventory reduction strategies and goals
-Work within our operating systems, to enter orders, look at inventory, build reports and analyze business.
-Monitor limited and allocated wines
-Attend sales meetings on a consistent basis to align with management and colleagues on sales objectives
-Responding within 24 hours to all client inquiries
-Meet monthly/quarterly/yearly sales goals for volume and activity of supplier wineries as set by management
ADMINSITRATION & FINANCE
-Create territory sales forecasts
- Receive and process customer orders through company operating systems
-Communicate inventory and pricing discrepancies with customers to maintain order accuracy
-Process new account set-up and changes, ensuring all documents are properly recorded
-Track and submit receipt and expense reports in according to company guidelines
- Liaise between customer and internal teams to process accurate and timely invoices
-Create Event Budgets & ROI projections
QUALIFICATIONS
-Entrepreneurial spirit
-Fine wine sales experience - Minimum 1 year
-Strong communication and marketing skills
-Self-starter
-Detail oriented
-Must present a polished and professional image
-Must be able to lift 10 - 25 lbs.
