The Senior Marketing Coordinator will be a key player in supporting the Brand Manager in conceiving and executing integrated marketing strategies and initiatives across Consumer, Trade and DTC for their appointed Brand(s). This position requires a mix of creativity, strategic thinking, and operational execution, with the opportunity to contribute to high-level decision-making while also ensuring the successful day-to-day management of campaigns, product launches, events and cross-functional projects across paid, owned and earned media. The Senior Marketing Coordinator will collaborate closely with creative partners, Sales and DTC to meet brand and business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand & Product Management Support:
• Contribute to Brand Strategy: positioning, targeting, value proposition, and goals
• Maintain and execute the Brand Book and manage brand and product asset library ensuring brand guidelines are adhered to across channels.
• Contribute and lead key parts of category and competitor intelligence
• Provide internal and external Brand representation and ambassadorship
Participate in multi-year, annual and quarterly strategic marketing planning with leadership of one or more marketing areas (Consumer, Trade, and/or DTC)
• Lead/contribute to Consumer Marketing Planning with consumer and channel insights and ideas across paid, owned and earned media to reach, engage, and drive consumer behavior to meet goals.
• Lead/contribute to Trade Marketing Planning with insights and ideas across Shopper (POS, Coupons, programs), 4th Tier Sales and Digital Shelf, Trade Events and Hospitality, and Trade Partner channels to support Sales goals.
• Lead/contribute to DTC Marketing Planning with insights and ideas across Destination, eComm, Direct Sales, Events and Hospitality, and Club to meet targets.
Lead Integrated Marketing Execution:
• Own the integrated annual brand calendar and lead quarterly kick-offs with internal and external stakeholders: Sales, DTC, and Executive
• Own budget for one or more marketing areas (Consumer, Trade and/or DTC)
• Lead execution of campaigns and evergreen initiatives ensuring alignment with brand goals and guidelines, marketing metrics and business objectives across:
• Consumer: Paid, Owned, and Earned media channels
• Trade: Shopper, 4th Tier, Events and Hospitality, and Trade Partner channels
• DTC: Destination, eComm, Sales, Events and Hospitality, and Club channels
• Lead day-to-day management of budgets, project plans, creative development, copywriting, content capture, asset management and deployment, and logistics.
• Identify efficiencies, synergies and opportunities to integrate marketing initiatives across Consumer, Trade and DTC marketing efforts.
• Help prepare, participate and lead in presentations, sell-decks, and collateral (print and digital) to support internal and external interactions with Executive, key retail and distributors partners, and other third parties.
Contribute to Marketing Reporting, Analysis and Optimization
• Update Brand dashboard monthly
• Track day to day performance and report key metrics to the Brand Manager, helping to report and analyze results, and optimize
• Own key areas of monthly and quarterly executive reporting and presentations (Consumer, Trade and/or DTC)
Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in marketing or brand management, preferably in the wine and spirits industry; Trade and DTC experience desired.
• Strong organizational and project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to interact with various teams and external partners.
• Fluent across Consumer, Trade and DTC marketing channels and media
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and marketing tools such as Google Analytics, social media platforms, and email marketing.
• Attention to detail and a strong ability to follow through on projects.
• Curiosity and passion for the wine and spirits industry and brand marketing.
