This latest era will feature a newly renovated estate, best in class hospitality, and innovative DTC software that delivers a complete brand experience built for the modern-day consumer. Our leadership team is currently looking for professionals that carry an earnest desire to contribute to an elite team, can remain adaptive, and possess a genuine interest in relationship-based luxury sales.

Position Summary:

The Business Development Manager, at its core, is responsible for driving DTC business through a variety of different initiatives that include but are not limited to: growth of referral network, relationship management, pay-to-play events/experiences, and involvement with various local organizations and groups. This position will be tasked with devising these various initiatives, driving their success, and creating comprehensive reporting to measure their effectiveness. As a result, this position will ultimately be the estate’s primary point of contact for our various referral sources and business drivers throughout the region. In addition, this role is tasked with fielding and delegating incoming non-member inquiries to the estate either via email or phone. Lastly, this position has ownership of the reservation process for any/all referred guests.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

•  Referral/Partner network development and management
•  Creation and implementation of event/large party contracts or “BEOs.”
•  Vendor coordination for rentals, caterers, etc.
•  Tracking referred reservations.
•  Deployment and tracking of concierge gifting program.
•  Professional networking via DTC organizations throughout the valley.
•  Convert inquiries into reservations.
•  Learn and master our POS, CRM, and reservation systems.
•  Manage the estate’s concierge email and phone inboxes.
•  Implement CRM data.
•  Assist with on-site events.
•  Assist with ideation of visitation driving programs.
•  Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Qualifications:

•  2-4 years of college/university education or equivalent
•  Extensive network in Napa Valley suited for partnership development.
•  2+ years in a luxury hospitality or sales setting, e.g. winery, restaurant, hotel, etc.
•  Exceptional communication, written, and interpersonal skills.
•  Exceptional organization and prioritization skills. Someone who can self-manage and prioritize workload to attain business goals.
•  Enthusiasm for the Napa Valley and its wine, memorable hospitality, and networking.
•  Proficiency in Microsoft Office and POS/CRM systems.
•  Must be willing and available to work most weekends, holidays, and special events.
•  Possess a team-oriented mentality when it comes to shared duties, sales goals, and objectives.
•  Possess initiative, drive, and willingness to rise to the occasion.
•  Ideal candidates are looking to develop and refine their skillset for career advancement.
•  Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and adherence to all safety regulations and operating procedures.
•  A valid driver’s license.
•  Must be 21 years of age.

Physical & Mental Requirements:

•  Full body mobility: This is an active job where you’ll be expected to walk, stand, kneel, lift, etc.
•  Able to operate a motor vehicle
•  Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
•  Exceptional communication skills: Proficiency in verbal, written, and body language communication is essential. Candidates must present themselves in a professional manner and have the ability to read, write, and speak in English at a college level.
•  High-demand work environment: This role requires sustained focus, awareness, and the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively under pressure.
