Position Description:
ROCO winery seeks a Hospitality Coordinator for its tasting room and events functions, who will positively impact employee morale, conduct VIP experiences, and promote club membership and overall revenue growth. The successful candidate will be a self-motivated, energetic, and enthusiastic team player with sound wine knowledge and excellent customer service skills.
This position is a hybrid role that is primarily customer-facing with some administrative duties related to wine shipping, event management and reservation/database maintenance. Weekends are required along with flexibility to work holidays, special events, and evenings as necessary.

The Hospitality Coordinator reports directly to the Assistant General Manager.
Responsibilities:
HOSPITALITY AND SALES
• Greet and engage visitors.
• Develop and maintain club member relationships.
• Conduct wine tastings and provide information about the wines and winemaking.
• Engage visitors with the ROCO story to create enthusiastic brand ambassadors.
• Drive sales goals and wine club acquisitions.
• Maintain detailed customer records within WineDirect.
TASTING ROOM OPERATIONS
• Maintain organization and cleanliness of the tasting room and shipping area.
• Perform opening, closing, and intermittent side work duties as assigned by management.
• Train and provide continuing wine/hospitality education of part-time Tasting Room Associates.
• Manage reservations and the TOCK application.
• Assist with weekly and monthly wine, food, and merchandise inventory.
• Know, communicate, and execute details of DTC promotions and events to hospitality team members.
• Follow and enforce all ROCO company policies, including state and federal laws.
• Maintain training and operations manuals and tasting notes binder.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES
• Conduct DTC operations.
• Participate in sales and events programming ideation and execution.
• Provide daily reports on sales and DTC information as required.
• Gain and maintain expertise with WineDirect and Tock.
• Participate in budget activities as requested.
WILL-CALL AND SHIPPING
• Execute web and TR shipping orders including communication and fulfillment.
• Order supplies, maintain shipping/winery area.
• Maintain will-call and weather hold orders pallet.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
• Bachelor’s degree
• 5 years of hospitality experience
• Working knowledge of the Oregon wine industry.
• Knowledgeable/experienced with Word, Excel, and other standard computer programs.
• Experience operating POS systems (WineDirect is a plus).
• Experience operating reservations systems (Tock is a plus).
• Prior experience selling fine wine is appreciated.
GENERAL ABILITIES
• Must be over 21 years of age and possess an OLCC server's permit.
• Able to stand for 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Extraordinary customer service and sales skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.
• Ability to work well independently and as a team player.
• Professional demeanor and appearance.
