Job Description:

Agajanian Vineyards & Winery Company is a three-generation, family-owned wine negociant/merchant and vineyard investment management business. Our mission is to provide Winegrapes and Premium Bulk Wines to other wineries and negociant brands. We have an extensive grower relations staff throughout California, Washington and Oregon.

We are looking for a true team player to execute to the highest quality standards of all clients facing functions essential to the business of selling Premium Bulk Wines and that are consistent with the goals of our clients and the company. Compensation is intended to be based on Sales Performance, matching your skills and abilities with our team, and the goals of our company.

Responsibilities:
•  Develop and achieve team goals in all aspects of Sales.
•  Sell Premium-to-Luxury Wines, and Private Label Brands Wine on a day-to-day basis.
•  Communicate with clients, find their needs; 60 to 100 business phone calls daily.
•  Meet with clients face-to-face daily.
•  Prospect new domestic and international clients.
•  Grow and increase business with our existing client base.
•  Promote and sustain long-term sales agreements/contracts.
•  Maintain company databases with current information of both prospective and current clients.
•  Manage travel schedule, trade shows, and sample wine tastings.
•  Create and track sales orders status to wine production and shipping logistics.
•  Attend trade shows and assist with market specific marketing materials.

Qualifications:
•  Positive attitude and outlook on life.
•  Team Player with all staff, clients, and vendors.
•  Professional, polite, and timely communication both externally and internally.
•  Sales experience, preferably wine sales.
•  Detail orientated, self-directed, motivated, organized.
•  Proficiency with MS Office Suite (especially Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
•  Proficiency with DataRails and ACT! CRM software is a plus.
•  Industry knowledge, experience, and a passion for wine!
•  Ability to adapt to changes and directives from management.
•  Open minded and creative with new opportunities.
